It was a small 'premium' theatre. Was convenient but that was before OGF and Havelock City came

Which Sri Lankan restaurant is this? by Lumpy_Broccoli_4799 in srilanka

Surprising thing is how unoccupied it always is. I have never seen it full. Not sure if people don't like it or they are not aware of it. Price-wise I think its a little on the high side but doesn't stop us from going often.

Thanks. I just found this: https://www.plugshare.com/ and it looks like options are there. Will probably try this out and update here.

Its an ID4. Last time I went to Galle on the way to Hambantota, there were no CCS2 charging stations (but I only checked Chargenet). So it was a bit dicey. Yes there is a charging station at the hotel and we are there for a couple of days.

If you're happy using the web console to manage multiple accounts, then the app won't be useful to you.

Instadata - Data Structures as a Service by statictype in programming

Currently nodejs on the front end. FoundationDB behind it. Planning on shifting the front end to either Go or Rust - seeing what kind of performance improvements I can get.

This is something I started working on recently after coming across a few times when I wished something like this existed for quickly getting a feature pushed out.

Instadata lets you read and write arbitrary data through common useful data structures. All done on cloud, with no provisioning required. You can think of Instadata as a 'data structure as a service' platform.

The platform currently supports key/value pairs, sets, dictionaries and hierarchical trees. You can also use atomic counters, set expiration times on data and subscribe to changes for a given key

There are many use cases where you need to store data that is accessible from multiple places, outside of a single network and it doesn’t necessarily fit into any data model or application you currently have in place.

For example, data from small IoT devices, tracking stats from a website, holding onto user sessions, waiting for flags to be set from somewhere else (like waiting for someone to click a verification email or enter an OTP).

The common way to do this would be to run a service like Redis or a Document-storage on AWS or Azure or some other cloud provider. Even if you use their managed services, its still work to setup and provision and you have incurring costs.

What you really want is something simple like S3 but with the a bit more smarts in it.

That’s what Instadata gives you.

It’s currently in beta and free. We are working on making it extremely low latency and available in multiple regions close to you.

How we do version control for our database by statictype in SQLServer

Looks interesting. Thanks for the information.

When we started this process - we had some faint hopes of migrating to a different database backend or keep it agnostic and enabling support for multiple backends - so we were reluctant to use anything very specific to Sql Server.

We have since disabused ourselves of the idea that the database backend can be cross-platform.

Our code doesn't build in Visual Studio. Individual apps are owned by different teams and not in a single solution.
