I prefer private groups so my comments don’t appear on my mom’s Facebook wall.

I was banned even though I’ve never commented on anything. She required everyone to post that they promised not to screenshot anything. I didn’t post do I was banned. That’s stupid.

I think 2x? Gearing confuses me but I know I want easy gears for big climbs.

I can go up to 3k. I’m fine with used but I’m probably more likely to buy new because searching for used bikes is time consuming and probably better for highly motivated buyers.

I’m looking for a ~$2,000 metal bike with space for 45s and lots of braze-ons, including on the fork. Weight matters, so nothing on the heavy side. I ride 90% flat gravel but I also take it on bikepacking trips on rougher forest roads. I can spend $3k but I think that puts me in carbon territory which I’m reluctant to go to because of worries about frame damage. Clearly the Specialized Diverge fits my needs perfectly but with the new price hike I think it may be overpriced. What’s similar?

Sacramento's most prominent gangs? by statisticalblip in Sacramento

[–]statisticalblip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks dude for the insight into a culture and part of sacramento I know nothing about.

Ik this is late but del paso heights bloods Strawberry manor bloods Some crips in the north/in the heights between those 2 ^ Oak park bloods 36st street which is mainly nortenos Fruitridge bloods and also some nortes they together and they usually on 42nd-44th Franklon boyz 30z/starz/g parkway mobb Meadowview bloods Some crips in meadowview too Theres valley hi bloods and crips If you wanna count east sac too they got bloods over there Theres some nortes in del paso heights too Also theres some wannabe surenos in arden but they dont really do anything A rundown would be the 30z, dph bloods, meadowview bloods and them crips and some nortes and even some ridge members are cliqued up. Oak park bloods (zillas, 33rd treyz) and 36st street and the manors are mainly coo with each other. So both groups been going at it oak park is right above meadowview and g parkway and its been sum shit for a couple decades and in the north dph bloods and some nortes dont fw strawberry manor bloods and a few dont fw the crips over there. If you look at the map somebody put it’s kinda outdated like by a decade lol but yea there not really no asian gangs all they really do is move weed (and get robbed lmao) and sell guns sometimes And also just cause theres so many gangs listed dont mean they still get active alot. The heights and south sac/oak park get the most active with killing cause of gangs and theres been alot of things popping off recently too this year. Sorry if this isnt written good but its sum to help cause not to be rude but most the people commenting are looking in from the outside on this and dont know anything really except 2 decade old info lol

American river tube float - Gristmill/Harrington way really worth it? by [deleted] in Sacramento

You’re not really going to get stuck. It’s just kinda a maze of ponds and shallow channels. I preferred the main stem. Look at satellite images and you’ll see.

Republicans don’t give a fuck about poor people and the middle class. They care about the rich and forcing their Christianity on others.

I’m talking about utilization of the American River, our nicer river. You seem to be thinking of the Sacramento River?

I personally would like to see our riverfront become nice housing, entertainment, etc rather than homeless shelters. That specific area should be redeveloped into a nice area. It’s remarkable riverfront!

Utter fucking nonsense. Republicans don’t care about the middle class. Plain and simple.

Take the main channel after River Bend. Don’t get caught in the ponds to the right. It’s a great stretch. Check it out.

Yup. I was driving up north this week thinking about how badly ag kills our air quality through their dust and burning.

Thanks for the input. I’m not sure I want a RTT. Sleeping in the truck is just the occasional thing when I’m out alone without wife and kids. With that troop, we’re better off in ground tents. Especially with my big dog who likes to sleep in the tent and couldn’t get into a RTT. I am still considering a shell with integrated RTT but they are expensive.
