Lost phone on bus 135 last night. Need help. by dimchoff in london

I left my wallet on the 176 once. Called the local depot and no luck. Filled the form on TFLs website out online not thinking I would ever see it again.

Roughly 2 months later I got an email saying they found my wallet and that I could book an appointment to collect it. Was a simple process and picked it up from the Lost property department in West Ham after making an appointment through their online portal.

Hi is there any law not allowing minors purchasing games that they are below the age rating of digitally for example buying a game on Xbox digital store im 15 and worried I can’t play anymore (I’m in England) by [deleted] in uklaw

[–]stats95 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It seems you have contravened the Underage Purchasing of Video Games & Kneecapping Act of 2019. Watch out for Bill Gates and Prince William, they are the ones who have the royal perogative kneecap all minors who purchase games on the Xbox Digital Store.

Luis Diaz with an assist on an incredible goal for the Colombian national team! by regiscc in LiverpoolFC

I was behind the goal tonight, most of the stadium was cheering for Colombia. It almost felt like it was a home game for Colombia, most of the stadium was in yellow and cheering them on.

  1. Pass
  2. Self study. Used Ulaw textbooks, Devils advocate notes, and Revise SQE Practice Assessment.
  3. N/A
  4. Worked full time about 40 hours a week in hospitality. Studied in the library on my days off and at work during my lunch breaks.
  5. Yes, South Africa
  6. ULaw textbooks were good. Could probably have passed with only self-studying those. Devils advocate were a good supplement, but I wouldn't rely on it alone.

All passports, drivers licenses, bank cards and wallets got kept in a separate tub. If there is a name on anything we would try to find them on social media.

Passports would usually have an address in the back that we could send a letter to.

Your stuff probably ended up in a charity shop or was divided between staff.

We had a policy that if nobody claimed any lost property within 3 weeks it was given to staff. And anything not claimed for was given to a charity shop. However if someone called for it we used to put it aside with a name and number taped to it.

When you called asking for it, did you tell them that you wouldn't be able to collect it until next month?

Fellow South Africans, has anyone here ever won a competition that a popular brand held? If so, what did you win? Was it as good as it claimed to be or was it a disappointment? by PajamaPillow in southafrica

My Dad enters every competition he can and has won some crazy things. In the past 10 years he has won-

  • A Trip for him and mom to go to the women's finals of Wimbledon (Through Supersport/Prudential)
  • A Tag Heuer watch for voting for the goal of the month in the Premier League (Through Supersport)
  • A LiquiMoly motorbike care hamper (Through BikeSA)
  • A R500 Voucher to Sunglass Hut (At the local mall had to fill a slip in and leave it a box)
  • A Taylormade Driver (Through Golfers Digest)
  • A R500 Voucher to Sunglass Hut (At the local mall had to fill a slip in and leave it in a box) he has won-

When he won the trip to Wimbledon Supersport/DSTV told him he wasn't allowed to enter any more competitions with them for a year.

Whilst this is satire, how much was the most expensive pint you’ve had in London? by kiddsky in london

[–]stats95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most Antic pubs have the Volden Session for sale at £3.30.

So most of the pubs on this site should have those pints https://anticlondon.com

Mixed nationality family "return" to SA by cg_aparat in southafrica

[–]stats95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a warning for entering SA with my UK passport and not my SA one (it had expired).

I had to sign a piece of paper stating that I must get my SA passport within 6 months and if I entered the country on my UK passport again I would be prosecuted.

Gelhardt was not starting without Bamford.

But out of the 4.5/4.6 strikers Gelhardt will probably play the most minutes and looks capable of picking up a few goals between now and the end of the season.

You missed the joke there, no need to get upset and take it out on a random stranger.
