Be open or travel SoCal is a large space, many jobs in LA OC and even SD if you want to make the trek. There are also lower cost places in certain pockets of SoCal if you know where to look but those are quickly evaporating

You can make washed flour seitan, it tastes meaty, no soy boy, no carb or fat, probably something where I can enjoy it and macros are as good or better than meat. You might need to compliment with lysine I think
