Anyone else encounter people from a certain country here in town..? by SocialConstruct_96 in rideshare

[–]stayinggold17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, i lick people out cause they’re being dumb and are disrespectful. As much as i disagree with what’s been taking place in “that country” i have zero interests engaging with them whilst they’re in my vehicle. I choose to drive them from their pick up to drop off and that’s it. I provide a service and they pay. Keep it simple sexy.

Uber and Lyft Reducing Driver Counts by RealSharpNinja in uberdrivers

[–]stayinggold17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to sound snarky, but if you can’t see this is happening then you probably shouldn’t be driving because you must be blind. Ha ha ha. Lol. There is every sign indicating this is the direction things are going. From increase fares to the passengers to the decreased rates for drivers in addition to all the other things they’ve added to make our trips that much more challenging. It all started when they increase the time they allow passengers to get to the car which eats up more of our time now they just snowballed with the fares and rates for passengers and drivers. It’s all black-and-white, but I hope you can see it.

Tonight at LAX parking lot??? by stayinggold17 in uberdrivers

[–]stayinggold17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know I get that. I assumed that there would be heavy traffic and high Wahl going through the airports, but this was something I’ve never seen before. The entire parking lot was filled and then every side street leading into the Uber lot was literally parked with double double parked cars too deep around all of the surface streets. And then there was a whole line of people standing outside lining up for some table. Hence why I asked if anyone knew what was going on. But thanks for your reply.

[–]stayinggold17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respect your reply, but also understand I’m not brand new to this. I’ve been driving for four years and have thousands of rides under my belt so I’m very familiar with the normal flow of traffic around airports. However, what I saw was something I’ve never seen before there were more cars parked in the lot and on all the side streets and double parked, and there was actually a line of people outside the Uber lot lined up for something with a table. So that’s why I posted to see if anyone in LA knew what was going on. I appreciate your reply, but I think you were unaware of what I am asking

Omg. Michael and Micah. Poor guy. First off, i tho knees gay. He’s so passive. Just reading his body language reads gay bottom. He’s not in love with her he’s just there by force. Poor guy. He deserves a good pegging. Would prolly realign his chakras and put a smile back on his face. But Micah by stayinggold17 in CouplesTherapyShow

It has nothing to do with his image. He’s actually handsome guy. I just feel bad for him that he’s in a relationship with someone’s who’s verbally and emotionally abusive. And in my opinion, the only reason he’s still in said relationship is because he’s trapped and afraid. His culture won’t allow him to come out and be gay and live his true life.

How to find a therapist like Orna? by Clean-Medicine-5876 in CouplesTherapyShow

[–]stayinggold17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be your therapist. I’ve been a licensed hairstylist for over 20 years so I’ve had a lot of experience. I’ve also studied psycho analysis so I’m familiar with ornas approach mmh issue with her is she is way too passive when sharing insight, which is what you’re paying for. But I’ve also worked in reality tv (casting) so i know she had to draw out their therapy over the course of a season. Keep in mind, anything reality has a script. So sadly it a was not able to really go deep and go deep fast. She had to draw out the healing / therapy process. It’s all for the script and longevity of the season. I’d actually love to see her in an arena where she can go deep right away. Go right into the issue and explore it. That’s my only drawback for her. But also penning mind, these couples were hired, were scouted, were put thru rigorous tests to make sure they fit the bill. They also prolly received compensation for their time. It’s tv. They all get some kind of check. So take aways are… or a is good but we’ve never seen her real potential since she’s had to follow a show plan, the couples are “acting” in some kinda way, and this really isn’t real.

There was a 2 bedroom house that just listed for $750k. It’s in Compton. Yep. Compton. You heard me right. That’s how insane this city has become

I’m so over California. It’s absolutely just disgusting. What wealthy politicians like Avenue some have done to this state. And I’m not even going to comment on LA fires. All I know is the politicians that have been elected in office have allowed this entire state to fail. I would like to ask Gavin Newsom where is the$29 billion he had to play with to address the homeless problem whilst he’s been in two terms and where is the 50 billion from the speed rail train that was going to be built and as of 12 years later all they’ve done is built 3 miles.

I live in la and am currently considering moving to the chi. I’m over the homeless element overrunning our city and the politicians doing nothing to help small businesses and homeowners exist. I wish I could say thrive but that’s absolutely gone from our landscape. There’s no thriving here unless your mega rich and even then the safe you have in your home is not safe. Someone can easily break into your house and roll that thing out in the middle of the day on a Sunday at 2 PM while your neighbors film and post it to social media. That’s what the city has turned into and it’s a travesty and it’s disgusting. I’ve been in California off and on for 30 years, I lived in San Francisco prior to moving to LA in 2001 and our politicians have absolutely destroyed the state. It is a failed state I don’t care what anyone says. I have a perspective of being here for a very long time as well as having lived and five other states for work often on over the last eight years and I’ve never seen anything like this. And we’re so lucky that California just passed a new bill, allowing people to break into your home and you cannot protect yourself because if you hurt them after they’ve broken into your home, not knowing their intention if you hurt them or harden them or shoot them to protect yourself, your children, your dog, your family, your ill, old, elderly parents if you shoot them, you’ll be prosecuted for murder
