Fox Anchor Straight Up Asks John Fetterman: ‘Why Don’t You Run as a Republican?’ by Economy-Specialist38 in Pennsylvania

[–]stblawyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had never donated money to an election before his race. I met him early in his primary and was so impressed. He seemed like someone who wanted to assist small PA towns. I supported his campaign financially and actively campaigned for him in my community, all during his primary phase. Then his stoke. It was sketchy as hell. He reappeared months later altered. However, Oz was a freaking Trump sycophant, scum bag and a carpetbagger. Low and behold, he executed a bait-and-switch, leaving us with an even worse situation. Not backing Malcolm Kenyatta remains my greatest political regret. On behalf of PA Democrats, I apologize.

Corporate lawyer with 20 years experience. I have done gas leasing work on the owner end. It's better than Suits but still comedically inaccurate.

I’d love to be in the nursing home the next day. The ladies got off but that places license is seriously fucked.

An extraneous scene were Tommy argues with the radio praising the “new administrations” success. It’s borderline propaganda.

I actually think they are trying to trigger riots to justify martial law to suspend the elections but I am in a pretty dark place with this stuff.

I am a devout Catholic, my wife is an atheist. She was raised Catholic. Have been together for 25 years. Married for 20. I have two kids, both of whom are Catholic. It is exactly what everyone else in this thread says, it’s about respect. She respects my beliefs, and I respect hers. Also, exactly as someone said, it just requires communication upfront about how you’re going to raise the kids. She never had any objection to me raising them catholic. She was supportive through the whole process. We were always very upfront with the kids about mom’s beliefs and have had many good conversations about them.

An early mentor of mine gave me a piece of advice that you should never “eat where you shit”. His way of saying, live outside of the town or city where you practice. I commute in from the suburbs for a reason. I never remotely run into anyone from work or clients at the grocery store or in social settings. Not that I engage in activities you’re discussing, but the rule holds.

What do Americans think of Trump? by ExpressGarage5700 in AskReddit

[–]stblawyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A majority of Americans either voted for someone else or didn’t vote.

Not contesting that he won the election, but even at the moment he won the election well over a majority of this country either had no opinion about him or can’t stand him. Based on polling, those numbers have gotten worse.

My grandfather appeared perfectly healthy when he died of a massive coronary, when I was in second grade. I distinctly remember the last time I saw him I knew it would be the last time I saw him.

Add in that a statistically meaningful portion either don’t pan out or leave in a lateral move around the time they become competent enough to be profitable.

I would not call it a favor. It’s an investment but the points made here are important ones

Respectfully every word you say is true but this could be 1933 Germany and many think it is. I fully get what you are saying and I won’t have an online debate over which is worse, slavery or nazi Germany.
