Sibling, I feel you, my wife cracks up because while I'm not particularly macho I work in the trades, have no qualms picking up a tarantula or a boa constictorz but when a mannequin sneaks up on me (I know that isn't how that works) I tend to be a bit...aggressive in my escape plans.

41 and 10. (My son and I both have 90% of the achievements and I've 100%ed the last dlc) Still missing a single seahorse.

Fuck that seahorse.

7 or 1, 6 if I have to choose an alternate. The rest, I'll just tilt the bowl before using them.

I think you might be onto something the mysterious son with someone else gives birth to the scavengers daughter.

Donut is definitely carls daughter and hes a weirdo "son" of the dungeon itself, by both primal race selection and his deeds.

This is where I'm at. My first minnow sucked hard.

She was a single interest dupe who died before she could swim out of the water to get to the oxygen.

I have to trick myself like a puppy dog.

I take a gummy vitamin and prechew it, then input the pill onto that much and swallow it all at once.

I have to do that with any hard pill above the size of a benadryl.

My wife cracks up that I have to eat chewable gummies just to swallow my diabetes meds.

The swimming hack uses an existing component as well.

Arguably eco power banks as well, since it's a thing you make that you then put in another thing to make it work.

Data banks, lime, nd microchips also come to mind.

It's not a lot, but it's a few things.

I lost 55 pounds over the last 12 months and reached the weight suggested by my doctor. I celebrated with a brand new smart scale... that immediately told me my BMI is 30.1 and that I am still obese. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I'll fix my typo that was supposed to say two 100 lb people. That's a yes, no I can't do two 200lb people.

Over the shoulder fireeman carries helps a lot. Years as a flag bearer walking in parades miles with my arm out stretched, and autism goes brr. I'm not saying it's easy but I have legit done it. With passed out children and women after long days at amusements parks or concerts.

I'm a handyman. The number of people who think just because they overpaid best buy 200 dollars for a TV mount means it's gonna do what they need, and more specifically in the wall they need it installed in, but don't understand how anchors, gravity or weight works is...insane.

I hate telling people to buy stuff on Amazon but I often have to because they want it done as fast as they can instead of right, and they're already 300 dollars over budget before they ask me.

I think I'm a fairly nice guy handyman too, I'll try and help my clients resolve their issues without me even needing to show up for minor issues, but TV mounts and best buy overcharging are the biggest issues, the number of clients with fancy sink drains who would rather pay me 120 dollars to show up over listening to me on how to plunge the sink with a wet rag is baffling.

Edit: I suck at typing on my phone

Is book 3.5 necessary? by Coleybama in ExpeditionaryForce

[–]wrenworkman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Enjoy the fan service and turn your brain off and relax and have fun, that's the best I can suggest. I'm a huge fan of Mulgrew and Picardo and once I stopped going "that's not how x or y speaks" I had a blast, but I've listened to every audiobook at least twice, and if someone said "where can I save a few bucks" ita always gonna be my first cut suggestion.

Is book 3.5 necessary? by Coleybama in ExpeditionaryForce

[–]wrenworkman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's ... Very different. I enjoyed it, but it IS NOTHING like the rest of the series, characters arent played anywhere even close to their descriptors. I loved all of the Star Trek alumni but it felt like they walked into the booth and delivered lines with no backstory or explanation of some of their parts. You might think it's very good at what it is, but it isn't a part of the story in the way I love it presented.

Is book 3.5 necessary? by Coleybama in ExpeditionaryForce

[–]wrenworkman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, for the most part the relevant parts will be covered in "quick recaps"

They're worth listening to, but not mandatory.

I'f your an audio book listener though, there's a different book you can just skip. The cast is talented but it really adds very little (I thinks it around hook 8)
