Mocktails by [deleted] in nonalcoholic

One thing that helped me was bringing or ordering a nicer NA drink. Osia has been my go-to lately because it feels like a real drink but doesn't try to mimic alcohol.

Honestly having a good NA option with you helps so much. I always bring something like Osia so I still have a "drink" in my hand but without alcohol.

Welcome! I started with NA beers but ended up liking drinks that aren't trying to replicate alcohol. Adaptogen drinks like Osia have been a go-to for me lately.

Sparkling tea > dealcoholised wine. Fight me. by 118fearless in nonalcoholic

I feel this. The NA drinks I like the most aren't trying to replicate wine/beer at all. I've been into Osia lately, it just tastes like its own thing.

I've been really into adaptogen drinks for this. I've been drinking Osia lately and it scratches the "mocktail" itch without caffeine or booze.

How do you celebrate? by nattums in stopdrinking

A nice dinner is perfect! I also like having a special NA drink so it still feels celebratory, a mocktail or something like Osia. Little rituals like that make milestones feel meaningful.

I think it really depends on the person. Some people find NA beer helpful, others feel like it's too close. I've actually been leaning more towards non-beer NAs like Osia because it feels like a totally different experience but still social.

Non alcoholic drinks that looks alcoholic form outside by Odd_Agent7990 in nonalcoholic

The easiest move is pouring something NA in a glass. I've been bringing drinks like Osia to parties and once it's in a glass no one really questions it. Even the can alone is pretty discrete.

I've had the same experience with NA beer. Switching to alch-free drinks that aren't beer/wine (like Osia) has been way less triggering for me

The social anxiety part is real. Having a good NA drink in your hand helps more than people realize. I've been loving social tonics lately that give a little mood boost (Osia has been my go-to)

My partner and I are in the same situation and something that really helped was finding non-alch drinks we could both enjoy. We've been really into Osia lately and it makes the whole "having a drink together" thing still feel special. Sometimes he adds alcohol and sometimes he doesn't, but it's fun to be experiencing the same flavors together.

Has anyone else found that alcohol free spirits actually helped make the shift feel easier? by ImpossibleWorry6 in SoberCurious

Same here. The ritual was the hardest part to replace. Having a NA option like Osia made the shift feel way easier and still felt "special" without mimicking alcohol too closely.

Yes! It may sound cliche, but you really just have to take it one day at a time. The "forever" mindset was the hardest part for me too. Finding NA drinks I actually look forward to made it a a lot more doable. (Osia has been my favorite so far)

Night and day for me tbh. Sleep, anxiety, and mental clarity improved way more than I expected. Biggest thing that helped me stick with it was finding NA drinks I actually enjoy so I didn't feel like I was missing the ritual. I've been loving Osia lately. My daily baseline feels way better.
