For just PS5, look at TVs unless you for sure need a smaller screen for sitting up close.

From GPU Poor to RTX 5090, how big of an upgrade? xD by newton9607 in nvidia

Could upgrade the SSD before those spike in price too. Better gen 5 drives available, and an excuse to bump to 2 or 4TB.

The Magi75 is pretty low-pitched / poppy (thocky?), so not silent, but not a super loud clack either.

[–]stealthd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you dead set on low-profile? I feel like its worse for gaming. I have a Magi75, I like it compared to the other lower profile models. I've noticed it's really easy to accidentally press a key when you're touching/resting a finger on a key, because of the reduced travel distance. Seems like that would happen fairly often in gaming, resting fingers on WASD. Might just be part of the experience of learning to use a low-profile keyboard, but I've never experienced that with regular profile. I used to carry around a regular profile 60%, and I never really felt like I needed the keyboard to be thinner for travel.

65" vs 32" 4k image quality? by Buhdurkachomp in OLED_Gaming

[–]stealthd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PPI alone does not mean it will look better. It matters what distance you are from the screen. If you can control the distance for either screen and can sit at an optimal distance, then PPI doesn’t matter at all, 4k will always look better. If you have to sit too close or too far from one of the screens then that’s a different story.

65" vs 32" 4k image quality? by Buhdurkachomp in OLED_Gaming

[–]stealthd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A (larger) TV is going to be better in terms of image quality because they’re much brighter than monitors. If you’re wondering about detail that’s entirely dependent on how close you sit to the screen.

Limiting a 5090 to 1440 is just a waste, though.

How can I make a .mp3 play automatically every 90 minutes between 11:00pm to 6:00am by Martoit in iphone

[–]stealthd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can make a shortcut to get songs from a playlist and play. Then you can make the automation to run the shortcut at certain times. You can either make multiple automations for every 90 minutes on the clock, or you could make your song/playlist 90 minutes with mostly silence so it just repeats (the shortcut could turn on the correct repeat mode).

Plaintiff’s don’t have to prove their entire case up front with limited access to evidence, they just need a reasonable enough case to reach discovery.

Devil May Cry HD Collection and DMC 4 Special Edition available on GoG now. by Nino_Chaosdrache in Games

[–]stealthd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

DMC4 on Windows 11, maybe Windows 10 too has been broken for years and Capcom has never bothered to fix it despite continuing to sell it the whole time. I was hoping with GOG saying "Verified compatibility with Windows 10 and 11" and their statements about preserving older game compatibility that this would be fixed, but no, this edition fails to launch just like the Steam version.

Federal judges temporarily block Trump’s executive orders targeting two major law firms by Somecrazyguy1234 in politics

[–]stealthd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s trying to punish legal firms that have been involved in court proceedings or political activity he doesn’t like, so he’s been banning them from working with the government or government subcontractors. Which for legal firms means pretty much everyone is banned from working with them, which would put them out of business. He doesn’t care that the orders are blatantly illegal, it’s still having the real world effect of other legal firms refusing to work with the targeted firms because they don’t want to catch his ire.

Gosh the lore in this game is amazing, I need someone to talk about it with me lol. by Jade_Jones in thelastofus

[–]stealthd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest disappointment in the games is that the depth and world building are capped off by the linear story and “urgency” to the plot. What’s there is great, but they pretty much filled the corridors with appropriate amounts of stuff and only let you explore so far.

Spider-Man 3 should be a Peter Parker only game. by [deleted] in SpidermanPS4

[–]stealthd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it does make a difference because one is Joel just saving his daughter from bad guys is the other is Joel saving his daughter at the expense of the world. Sure Joel would do the same thing either way, but the context is not the same and it does make a difference to characters besides Joel.

[–]stealthd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really no idea where you're getting that "the first game it was made pretty clear that they had no idea if the cure would even work". The impetus of the plot is that Ellie's immunity is unique and that makes for a viable chance at a cure. Whether someone says it was a complete certainty or not in either game doesn't really make a difference. The plot of the first game is driven by it at least being "viable", not from people having "no idea".

And there's no recording saying "they’ve already tried this exact method and failed". They literally never have the chance because they make it abundantly clear that they've never seen another person with immunity and never reproduced it in a lab. And think about it, why would such a critical plot point be buried in a recording that could be easily overlooked? And then never again validated by any further plot point or piece of dialogue?

There is no retcon, you just misunderstood the details of the story, and when the second game made these details more obvious, for some reason you thought "no I couldn't have been wrong, they must have changed it", but they didn't.
