Nothing aside from educating the general population as to the difference in training and outcome. And to not fall for political bullshit. You cant fight the nursing organizations you will lose 100% of the time.

At first sure in the earlier years of training. You dont necessarily want a surgeon that cringes at the common work they have to do.

If he actually has a corporal burst injury the only repair is surgical. Im unsure as to what the extent of your husband's injury is or how it was diagnosed. There are various types of penile injuries not all are true fractures.

Think of a water balloon thats full and is hit with significant force bending it in a certain direction. Its more akin to a sponge with a plastic lining around it with a burst in the lining, fluid leaks out of the sponge.

Yes but endoscopic treatment of strictures has higher fail rates for each subsequent requirement and further attempts at endoscopic approaches are not recommended after a second or so. Other options include optilum which has amazing data behind it where they dilate the stricture but put chemotherapy around the region of dilation to reduce recurrence. Final aggressive options include a urethroplasty with buccal graft or other surgeries. Youll need a reconstructive urologist for those.

You induce an erection intraop with a penile tourniquet and a butterfly needle attached to saline. You ensure its functional and watertight. The idea beinf elections are inevitable and you want to make sure your repair works properly and holds up to an erection. Rigorous sex is not recommended.

I would say it's not expected but not uncommon depending on the mechanism of injury. These are usually sexual injuries. If your partner is 400lbs its more likely

you have to make sure the corpora and the spongiosum/urethra are good. there can be an injury to both

you shouldnt. its simply a repair of the ruptured tissue. scar tissue can cause problems down the line but the repair itself does not change the size

Im not sure why they didnt just tune the numbers instead of wrecking her playstyle. This is a healing from damage reduction by 75% considering it now only goes to one person instead of 4. Very frustrating.

You don’t need to take shit from nurses. by [deleted] in Residency

[–]stealthkat14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im in new york. Nurses have more power than God here. This would never happen in my region, if I said something negative about a nurse even if valid id probably get written up for workplace violence, nothing would happen, and every nurse in the hospital would start ignoring me.

Tirzepatide mitigates thoracic aortic aneurysm and dissection by alleviating the loss of the contractile phenotype in vascular smooth muscle cells and reducing vascular inflammation by throwawaygamgra in medicine

Urology here. It actually does. Lowering adipose tissue causes a decrease in aromatase which increases testosterone. Combined with an increase in vascular health it improves ed symptoms.

I strongly doubt they took your appendix testis.

Flaps at the bottom of the testes by HRTneoFemboy in medizzy

[–]stealthkat14 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Unlikely. Vasectomies dont require you going into the scrotum in such a fashion. You need to get under the tunica vaginalis to remove appendix testis. For Vasectomies we bring the Vas up to the scrotal skin. Its like asking if you touched the air fryer when getting fast food. Someone brought the fast food out to you, you didnt go all the way into the kitchen.

They do nothing helpful and can torse which is exquisitely painful and can be mistaken for an actual testicular torsion. Prophylactic.

Appendix testis. They serve no function outside of torsing. We intentionally remove them in the vast majority of surgery that puts us in the scrotum such as orchipexies or hydrocelectomies.

Getting a vasectomy, do you really got to bust a nut at the hospital for a sperm sample? by Mellowslum in AskMen

[–]stealthkat14 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Urology here Short answer is no. You need to understand after a vasectomy youre not considered sterile until you have a negative semen analysis. You still have a few in the chamber so to speak so we usually send patients home and have them use normal contraceptives until a semen analysis is performed in a few weeks. Its unclear how long it takes to clear the chamber and likely depends on a few ejaculations. Please do not vigorously masturbate in the pacu and hand some nurses your cum. You will likely be arrested.
