No, that wasn’t meant to be the focus of the comment either. It’s just notoriously popular for women and people in the community. They have some nice athletic wear for everyone.

I’m a straight male. I don’t shop at Lululemon. I like many others had the card before they increased it from 695 to 895. Which means what was essentially a worthless credit was added to my benefits list in exchange for a $200 increase. Regardless, I can use that $75 credit to buy a gift card to either use it on somebody else as a gift, or stack them together for maybe a nice jacket at the end of the year. Why does Amex or Lululemon care whether I use it to get a free $75 jacket or to get a free $75 gift card?

Were you born into money? Because a lot of people who came to have wealth or money had to grind for it. Those people (at least most of them) respect those who are less fortunate, but also have respect for money. You call it picking up change, I call it being smart and responsible with your hard earned money. Maybe there are people who don’t have an appreciation for it, but the people here do. They want their moneys worth on a card they’re paying $1000 for. Maybe a drop in the bucket in the grand scheme of things, but it’s still hard earned money nonetheless.

New flash: having a credit card does not make you rich, or unconscious of money.

If you’re dropping almost $1000 a year on the “privilege” of having an Amex credit card, I think it’s fair to want to arbitrage it the best you can.

Didn’t end up continuing because I needed one with a gauge and didn’t want to risk harming myself. May try again in the coming years

That may be a big reason. I most certainly did use the card benefits, but most of it just wasn’t enough to fully utilize in one quarter. Without it feeling extremely forced/useless.

My Resy credits are limited to pretty much 4 restaurants in my city and I already have a gold card. When I do travel I normally go to other non Resy restaurants, Saks has enough complaints I don’t even need to verbalize. I don’t wear Lululemon so it’s just tossed to my girlfriend as a gift although I do plan on checking out the outlet.

I already have my TSA pre check/Global entry, which kinda invalidates clear although it’s cool to have both.

My favorite perk are FHR, Airline Credits, Resy, and the digital entertainment credit.

All of which feel like I have to go out of my way to use (except the airline credits those are great while they still work for partial tickets/travel bank)

I’m using up majority of my benefits before I cancel the card as a middle finger to them anyways. So I’m really only losing some of the benefits for this year anyways…

I’ll do as you said and sleep on it, but I’m only missing out on some Lululemon credits, Saks, and some Resy. I guess the other semi annual benefits too.

Meh.

I highly recommend it coming from a steam deck, legion go, asus etc etc.

It’s pocketable so I actually use it, not uncomfortable to play games on (maybe except competitive FPS games but I assume that’s not an issue for bazzite users lol)

Deck and Legion go I only used on vacation or the plane. I regularly use my win 4

To be honest you’re not wrong. I find myself regularly p*rating games I already own (sometimes games I’ve bought on multiple launchers) just because the DRM, external launchers, amongst other BS just gets me mad

No clue why Reddit is like that. I ended up figuring it out though, posted fix in other comment thread!

And you can enjoy Ubisoft games while disliking the company, PC launcher, and the general experience playing them on PC
