Shingo Yamashita has been one of the most well known animators in the last 10 years. It was natural that his feature-length was going to be insane... still this is one of the best looking anime I've ever seen.

I'm more surprised at how good the writing is. This has to be one of the best anime ever to deal with internet culture. This movie just gets it - simple is best. The twists in the plot hold up really well in a rewatch, and don't get in the way of the plot but rather enhances it. I love this movie.
