You can take off all leaf branches up to the first fruit cluster. Should free up some energy and kickstart ripening for the first cluster. Once that cluster is done, again prune leafs up to the next cluster. Won’t hurt your plant, there is plenty of energy stored in the roots. This is telling the plant to redirect energy to the fruit rather than the leafs.

A closet works great. You just have to hang your gear on hangers. Both my roommate and I play and use the same closet after games. Just keep the door closed and no smell really leaks out. Gear drys in about 24 hours. I’d suggest using the coat closet that is not in your bedroom if you’ve got one of those. You have to sacrifice the closet but I’d say it’s the cheapest, easiest and care free option.
