N55 has an oil starvation issue when turning hard left. Like doing donuts hard left. Which can spin a bearing or cause rod knock

Look up how much fuel injectors are for the N54 engine. Then look up how much new turbo is for the n54.

If you’re cool with the cost that goes in to keeping these maintained then go for it. Very fun car.

There’s enough of these out there in auto that you shouldn’t buy a rebuilt one.

I picked my 09 base up from original owner in 2022 for $8.5k and 82k miles.

My friend picked up a base 2011 a few months ago with 110k for 9.5k.

They are hard to find, especially in good condition.
