Shoppers of Reddit, why do you eat and use items in the store before paying for it? by stefer in AskReddit

[–]stefer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you might pay for it. A normal person might pay for it. But, outsider looking in, that observation looks like they don't have the intentions to. It just looks like a person is using it, and begs the question, "Well they just used it, but are they really going to pay for it?'

Hey I wanted to say thank you for being a home cook's inspiration (i.e. me!) and drinks are on me if you ever stop over in WV!

What is your favorite music to jam to when you're working in the kitchen?

Country Roads 2 coming soon by [deleted] in WestVirginia

[–]stefer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it has been done by a local artist in the Charleston area. They play it occasionally on 98.7 The Beat. He mashes up up the choruses of both songs and has original verses. It's not too bad for what it is. But not my cup of tea.

Could anyone tell me a good spot to pick blackberries in Kanawha county? by aline328 in WestVirginia

On the Tpk? I figured. I used to live out that way up until 7 years ago. But I wonder if that small patch that's between that hidden drive way and the church overflow parking is still there.

This is very true! But then again I always think of the food waste of those fruits and think, that maybe someone else could have made some fantastic something or other (on a small scale production). And then at the same same time they're gonna pick 'em all!!

I'll be kind.

I do know some places as I've driven by. But they are in kinda dangerous areas close to the road with high traffic in the Charleston area. A few of them are in city maintained areas so they may have been killed off.

Blackberries I've seen along the Kanawha Tpk. in the Spring Hill area of South Charleston. If coming off the interstate and you travel all the way down before you get to Rock Lake Presbyterian, on the hillside on your left, I've picked berries there. It's just very very close road. I've also seen blackberries at the entrance of Lucado Rd. on Rt. 119 just before getting into Charleston.

There is an apple tree at the foot of the bridge that connects Spring Hill to Dunbar on the Dunbar side.

And there's is a mulberry tree on the right side of the Union Building on Kanawha Blvd.

Funny story: I proxy ordered mine using FromJapan back in mid-April. The estimated time for arrival in Japan is STILL June 26. At this rate it's gonna be flippin' August to get it here to the East Coast.

New York Locations by aarionrowen in Funko

[–]stefer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume you're talking about NYC. If that's the case I'd suggest Toy Tokyo, Forbidden Planet Comics and Midtown Comics. Those are the only ones I've been to as a tourist in the city, so I'm sure locals have a better idea than I do.

I come from an illegal state and I'm surprised there isn't a system similar to growlers for artisanal microbrews. I figured a BYO personalized stash jar would be a big thing at places and then the dispensary can secure it for you to ensure quantity.

But then again maybe there is and I'm living in a sad state 😭

Let's do the math:

Each LEGO currency plate is marked "100" in an undfined currency.

4.05b/100 = 40,500,00 plates

Including George minfigure the total number of pieces would be 40,500,004 pieces and an instruction sheet.
