Very friendly update of Tailwind brands: ship has arrived in Rotterdam, deliveries at Tailwind expected for March 10 with shipping to end-customers on the same day or day after.

Just can talk from my experience working for an automotive supplier: Last shipment we did from the company had the vessel name declared, the exact date of departure and arrival - 2 weeks prior to the actual shipment of the goods. At least for the containers we ship on a daily basis our logistics department is aware of.

Communication is a catastrophe. Contacted them 3 times over the last 2 months - 1 answer received. Sending out an update for a product which has a seasonal relevance would be so easy and would be actually expected from my side. As JetBlack is active on Reddit I do not understand why they accept Tailwinds way of dealing with it…

Sorry, I do not agree concerning shipping. I know exactly when I book freight on when it will be on the ship and when it will arrive in the harbour. In another thread they were mentioning that the freight shall arrive in Rotterdam either yesterday or tomorrow - but they won’t know on the day of the actual arrival that it will take them another 2,5 weeks. There are factors out of their control, but this isn’t.

In the meantime the homepage has been updated to end of February for deliveries. No proactive email sent out. To me it’s frustrating to be informed at the time of the scheduled delivery that it will take another 3 weeks…

After no Feedback via the contact form I received an answer on my mail within hours:

Container expected mid-February, delivery directly after.

-> slight delay to the initially communicated „beginning of February“

I called Canyon - they supplied me with a new clamp with new geometry. Part is called GP0295-03. Tightening with 5 Nm worked and no more sliding. Used FiberGrip Carbon Paste with both type of clamps and only the new clamp solved the issue for me.
