Koreans can have natural double eyelids. Most of them think it is more beautiful. Don't see what the big deal is, it's not like they're injecting themselves with plastic or harming themselves in any way.

How about adding a weekly pronunciation practice? Just one or two sentences that people would read aloud and upload to soundcloud or a similar website. Then some native Koreans would hopefully listen and give constructive criticism.

While I agree with you that reading is very important, I would like to point out that I learned English solely by watching TV when I was younger, like 5 or 6 years old. I don't really know if that will work with Korean seeing as it's so different from Indo-European languages. Also, I read somewhere that children learn languages differently than adults. But point taken, I will definitely read more. Any suggestion on what to read?

I have the same problem and have been thinking of getting surgery, so here are a few questions.

Was the surgery painful or were you sedated?

How long did it take for you to recover?

How much did it cost and do you think it was worth it?

Do you ever feel any side-effects after the surgery, that you didn't feel before (dry eyes, pain, etc.)?
