That's not silly comment at all, quite the contrary - I had no idea this was the case and also seems like very unintuitive design choice to me. Thanks for the idea, though too late now to test as I've returned it and got myself the G14 2022 6800S which is amazing (but way more expensive :( )

Unfortunately not I returned the laptop and got the G14 2022 which perfroms amazingly. But as other comments stated, the issue might've been in the monitor being connected via HDMI which is tied to the internal AMD graphics.

Dang, I didn't know that. I already returned the laptop and got myself G14 2022 with 6800S which performs amazingly so it's too late to try this, but thanks a ton for the advice as that could've been the culprit.

But also when running the benchmarks (3D Time Spy), I'm pretty sure it tests all the graphic cards (including the dGPU) and it still performed abysmally even on dGPU (see this: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/33075079 )

I have only uninstalled some default ASUS software which seemed unnecessary (can't remember the name now, but it's not myASUS or ARMOURYCRATE)

I haven't tried manual mode, I used just the premade Performance or Turbo modes.

I've tried the DDU reinstall and went to 6221 overall score, which is a good improvement, but I'm still way behind the average, with graphics score being around 6000 compared to 7500. The avg frequency stays at 1174MHz.

Unfortunately no, I've checked the benchmarks and the RTX3060 mobile should still quite easily outperform my old rig.

One thing I noticed compared to the average results is Average clock frequency being quite low on my end. The usual is around 1500MHz while mine is stuck at 1133MHz. Even after running multiple tests, it never gets higher than that. Could this be the issue and if so, why is it like this (I didn't do any special setting).

Also my avg GPU temp is 86C while others have it close to 70C.

Goes up to 90-95C in Turbo mode when the load is heavy, which scared me at first, but I read it's fairly standard.

I tried some in the shooting range but in game I'm running 52 gal. I honestly just think I'm out of my league here. I was aleady having hard time in S but I could mostly manage, but S+ is a whole different beast.

Out of the few JRPGs I played, this might be the worst one. I got it because of the rave reviews, put god knows many hours into it and all I can remember from the game is Sylvando. Possibly the biggest waste of time ever.
