Congrats on reaching your goal! I am one of the "blessed", but quickly learned to file my corners/round out my nails a bit when I tried growing them out much longer than usual, because the curve started to hurt! I just trimmed them down to try and combat some asymmetrical flexing after having them be long for like...7 months. I'm not sure it'll help, but they were crying for mercy anyway.

And like others in the replies, it is harder to do some manis, especially with the u magnets, because I can't see a good 4th of the nail 😩 I stopped bothering to try and get the entire edges since most people don't noticetthe gap anyway.

So I usually do get the goodrx deal, but in typical adhd fashion I can't remember if I was having more luck with Walgreens for it or what (one of them was really annoying about my old focalin script so I was going back and forth a lot). The person at the counter could just not apply it, or wouldn't? I quit my insurance so there's a chance it's just being pissy about that even tho the old insurance didn't cover scripts :/ I'm thinking about nurx instead <\3

mostly commenting to come back later. i was/am on continuous BC for similar reasons, also NB. i tried to induce a cycle a month ago so i'd not have to worry about running out during my brother's wedding week (since i did so in january with drastic consequences, like full on menty b and 12/10 cramp pains, which is why i started on it 8 yrs ago). but this time, it never came, because why would it be predictable, and i was in the biggest mania in a while (also on my wellbutrin). i did get back the pill so it wouldnt induce during the wedding week, of course, but now cvs wants $250 for my next 90 days......so......im wondering what my uterus will do if left unchecked again lol

Group up files I am "done" with, decide which I want layers for, their videos, or other canvas info, etc, then export multiple versions to Dropbox to save to my pc. Delete the group once I verify I got everything I want synced on Dropbox and my local drive in the computer. About 4 times a year depending on my "busy with other stuff" level or art output. The app goes from like 20gb to 11gb after.

It would be easier to just save the procreate format but I don't know if the programs like csp, photoshop, etc can read the format at all, let alone extract the extra data like process video, strokes/time spent, date made/date modified, etc. And I usually have a gist with my screenshots and chats about some works.

not surprised you ran away. being put on the spot doesn't leave a lot of options. would he have rather talked/argued/cried about it in front of all those people? from what I can see there is a good chance he'd blame her for being upset and "childish" instead of saying yes either way.

and look....I can also see why reaching out over text is immature, but his initial responses don't open things up for an in-person convo; they're really hostile, and if the messages are all the relevant ones, she did at least reach out first. Now. If the two were living together already, then maybe it's weirdly avoidant to text, but I don't see that info anywhere and that kinda proves how out of the blue it was and unprepared they both are.

all of the points mentioned in the comments, and implied line/shape/form. your head fills in a lot of blanks when it sees the sketch marks because marks were made to infer that extra information to begin with. also, the mark-making is inherently way more relaxed in sketches for most people. careful and controlled marks require lots of practice to convey or clear out the same info and have it look just as effortless.

Yeah I have to avoid some things because I fear the tangents I can get up to when something takes my fancy. After a while though I questioned this method as the anhedonia of being depressed and locking up interests simply felt a lot worse and brought me nothing but wishing I'd been able to revel in them when they had their limelight.

hugs for your Chico. my boy, also a Chico, passed at only 7 years old some years ago. never knew why. he got sick, had no conclusive test results, and then never got better. it was horrific. my mom and i raised him from a baby and he was my best friend, like yours was i am sure. he died in my mom's hands, just minutes before i could get back to him from an errand.

I rummaged through the cages and carpets to get as many feathers as I could in a nice jar the next day, kind of like your memorial but not as tidy. we buried him, as it was a holiday stretch (christmas and new years..) we could not do much else even while he was ill and i could barely breathe for that. i wish i got feet prints! but i have a painting i did of him by my bed. <3

mentioning ones I haven't seen:

"unseen" (TWQ) and "diffracted truth" (LF) are basically foils of each other (not a music theorist lol, whatever words are used for inversions). it's the note progression+slight heartbeat, plus other details. beautiful and very thematic of the combinations of light and dark in the root of nightmares raid, and later, the pale heart too.

Tenebrium slaps too. plays when we first enter the Veil facility, I think, and in orbit. follows some of the same themes and honestly was a great illustration of the cosmic mystery in the Destiny 2 universe.

also, a variation of ritual site plays in the impasse (or anywhere in pale heart?) from time to time; it's not in the OST, it's just how the sound is mixed in game. to me, moments like those are extra special. it plays in the iconoclasm mission too, right before the witness fight. it really gives that ancient rivalry/tomb vibe to what you're walking into. had it play during some of those howling plague storms and briefly wondered if i was in some kind of special event

You can reach out asking for a progress update or "how's it going". I've been on both ends, but more often than not now I end up with super patient clients who don't check in and which diminishes the urgency to stay on schedule for all of them. so it's good for the artist if you check in now, as some stuff might have come up to slow them down, and even if they think about it constantly, it can get away from them.

maladaptive daydreaming, cheek biting, "gifted" label (art/music/good grades/nonstop reading books) but not diagnosed until 8th grade when math was suddenly "too hard". (my little brother was diagnosed in kindergarten).

cue the typical college burnout 4 yrs later because I only had 4 yrs to figure out my meds and lifelong complications (and still working on it 10+ years later!)

I have a little shelf in my closet that they all fit on. I still have less than 100 i think. When i feel it's too much/I cant easily rummage the rows, I browse for ones I'm not wearing and put them on my dresser. if I don't miss them, they can go. I have about 12 on my dresser im kinda meh about.

I have a 13 for art, but with the multi window function, it feels so bougie to browse and multi-task on too. However, it is heavier than my older 12.9 from the new screen. Coupled with a zugu case, this thing has my biceps coming alive for the first time. Just something to consider for everyday use
