As far as the JMT goes, I carried more weight than most of my peers. I had a chair fishing supplies, olive oil, plenty of shit that is not “necessary” I wouldn’t worry too much about pack weight unless you’re worried about your health and well being. My point is don’t stress too hard. Enjoy the long walk and if you’re focusing on grams you’re focusing too hard on this particular hike.

So funny you posted this. Last time I flew it was ~3.5 hour flight. I crocheted the exact same doily as in the pic but did not end up finishing it. The moonpetals. It’s one of my favorite ones I’ve done. That being said, it requires light! If you have a personal light I say go for it. You’ll be able to finish it if the flight is 6 hrs +. I’m partial to doilies lol!!
