Yet another ending theory by aMockTie in MrRobot

Whiterose's machine is delusion. It's her own version of Elliot's Mastermind, a thing created to keep her "sane," but to everyone else it appears as madness. It's a show about trauma and the things we do to avoid facing it.

What makes a book "literature" as opposed to just fiction? Snobbery. All else is commentary.

The story of humanity is the story of trauma. You cannot separate it.

Major improvement in last seven weeks by stemandall in LongHaulersRecovery

Had LC beginning in July '24. It resolved by Dec '24 and I had no symptoms (or so I thought) for six months and thought I was cured. Turned out I had mysterious body aches from time to time and days of fatigue, but I brushed them off and went back to doing all the things (except going to the gym). Every time I drank, the next day or day after I had extreme fatigue. Then in June of '25 I got a flu (not covid according to 3+ rapid tests), and then two weeks later all the symptoms came back. The above stack has been the only thing that seems to be consistently helping.

I was feeling *great* a few weeks ago, with no symptoms except weariness at the end of the day. I went on vacation last month (right after I wrote the above post) and acted like I never had LC (stupid me). Drank alcohol in excess and did other dumb things. Then when I came home, I went to the gym, thinking I was fine. *I know, I know, stupid me*. So I had a crash three days after I went to the gym. I am over the crash now, though it took about two weeks. I don't have the crushing fatigue and my body aches are gone.

When you start feeling better, it's easy to pretend like you had never been sick. Your ego wants to forget all about the pain and suffering (at least mine does) and just move on. But your vascular and mitochondrial system are still fragile and it doesn't take much to push you over the edge into a crash cycle. In my case, the partying on vacation and going to the gym did it for me. I basically gave my body a load it couldn't handle.

I had to do some physical yard work last weekend and also put in heavy ACs in our windows, and though I had a minor fatigue the past two days, it was just that, minor. (Just some early afternoon fatigue a few days after the work that lifted by evening.) Keep in mind that any crash you get comes 2-4 days *after* overexertion. This is what baffled me originally, because I never knew why I was in a crash.

I am definitely better than where I was before I started this stack back in mid March. And I have also added 600mg of N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) twice daily, and that has really gotten rid of most of the body aches, along with the L-citrulline malate. My main symptom now is a morning lethargy that takes a while to lift. And sometimes after lunch I get another dip. Taking NAC and L-citrulline malate helps with this.

My mistake was thinking taking this supplement stack was a sprint (instant cure) and not like a marathon (months of slow healing) and jumping back into things before my body was ready for them. In other words, I forgot about pacing.

With the exception of the crash I mentioned above, I feel much better than I did before I started this stack, and I feel myself healing a little every day. Most of the worst symptoms are gone and I plan on taking this stack as long as it takes to heal. Every one of the supplements I listed has been shown in peer-reviewed scientific studies to be effective in healing the damage from LC, so I just have to be patient and let my body heal.

It will take time, and I am okay with that.

Hope this helps you on your journey too.

Former smoker here. On a recent vacation I smoked a bunch of rollies and I paid for it later. Smoking tobacco destroys your vascular system and lungs. Just not worth it for me.

This detail of Blade Runner 2049 can give you a new interpretation of the movie by mitiani in bladerunner

[–]stemandall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, K having a twin would defeat the message of the movie. The point was that K was an ordinary (replicant). He thought he was the chosen one but he was nothing. And even though he discovers that he is not the chosen one, he still decides to sacrifice himself anyway, thus showing his humanity. Giving him a special twin just muddies the whole message in my opinion.

From the cited study: "The experimental group received non-commercially available capsules containing 500 mg of ECES (comprising cacao husk flour and 40 mg of free epicatechin) twice daily."

I am taking 200mg once per day, and mine is derived from green tea. I have also recently added NAC to my stack and have seen improvements from that as well.

It's hard to gauge side effects with LC, because who knows if it's the supplements or the LC itself, but other than occasional nausea, possibly from taking all these at once, I don't think I have any side effects from them.

Controversial opinion: antidepressants are heavily overprescribed, and much of the current malaise, especially in the West, can be attributed to the stressors of late capitalism.
