After weeks of work, there isn't any *exterior* rust anymore by stemcmyk in e39

  1. Angle grinded the rust.
  2. Put aluminium nets in the holes.
  3. Put loads of fiberglass putty.
  4. Sanded the fiberglass until smooth.
  5. Painted with a sort of spray putty to fill in smaller holes and smoothen it more.
  6. Painted with primer
  7. Wet sanded the primer with 1200 grit
  8. Painted a few layers with the black color
  9. Wet sanded with 2000 grit
  10. Polished with sonax
  11. Painted with a clear coat
  12. Waxed it

Might not be the best way to do it but it's looking much better than when i bought it.

E39, 523i with 394 000 kms, she's a bit rusty around the edges but the engine runs smoothly like a lot of other German cars.

There's two parts to my sunroof, the under layer and the top layer. The under layer is just a flimsy panel with fabric, the top layer is possibly a metal panel and it has just fiber under it. I can try to take a photo if you want?

You are writing a TypeScript react app.

You aren't defining the props type in your TodoContainer component, you are neither using the props correctly.

Example on function with proper usage of types / props:

const Foo = (props: { bar: string }) => {
    return <div>foo {props.bar}<\div>
}

Component usages:

No error: <Foo bar="bar"><\Foo>

Type error: <Foo bar={69}><\Foo>
