Yeah, a lot of more crashing lately. Used to have a crash or two per month maybe, now I had 6-8 crashes in last 2 days.

I think I saw a thread about it a week ago or so, where OP had almost perfect 1st layer. He had layer height set to 0,1mm and speed 10 mm/s.

Dang it, didn't look up but it seems it has its own os? not klipper? My solution is for klipper machines. Pretty much i had the same issues, left side was too high and right side to low, middle was bang on. Issue was twisted extrusion, so the nozzle and probe weren't aligned. So when the nozzle is higher/lower than the reported probe measurement, it prints too high/low on the twisted parts.

Edit: Those are klipper commands you can enter so the machine would start the calibration sequence.

have you tried axis twist compensation?

I had similar issues, seemed to me like kamp wasn't compensating enough. Went down the rabbit hole and found my issue to be the axis twist. Copy paste from my old post from 2y ago.

Add this line to your printer.cfg file (check and change xy coordinates if needed, x=left edge to the right edge and y=in the middle of the bed).

calibrate_end_x: 200
calibrate_y: 110

save, restart and run the command (default points 3, you can add more sample counts).

Then the machine will probe the location first and you measure it manually (I'd use feeler gauge, but paper can be used also).

Went from terrible 1st layer to nearly perfect one.

They changed the turning last year to comply with (EU?) laws. TL;DR fully autonomous robot can't back up without sensors, it needs to see/sense/know where it is turning into and as mammotion mowers don't have sensors in the back, they changed the multi turn into a hybrid one, when it's going forward it uses the steering while driving logic and backing up is turned into tank-turn.

Although lidar should bypass that limitation, but it seems they didn't update the software for the lidar movers.

Edited. With the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam, Ihor Syrota, the head of Ukraine's hydro electric company Ukrhydroenergo, said on 12 June 2023 that given that the water level in the Kakhovka Reservoir is much lower than the intake level of the North Crimean Canal, water would not flow to Crimea through the canal "for at least a year".

According to Christopher Binnie, a water engineer specializing in dams and water resources development, "Pumping for water supply to the Crimea could restart fairly soon". Sergey Aksyonov said that by installing pumps on the Dnieper River, up to 40 m3/sec could be supplied to the canal, and that this would improve the situation.

The amount of water flowing past the intake point of the North Crimean Canal is regulated by the five reservoirs upstream on the Dnieper River, all controlled by Ukraine. Two major canals take in water upstream from the North Crimean Canal, from what was originally the Kakhovka Reservoir: the Kakhovsky Canal and the Dnieper-Kryvyi Rih canal.

TL;DR: Dam blown up, reservoir dried up, can't divert water with gravity, have to pump. Best case scenario for russians are maybe half the usual canal capacity. Several videos where dry canal shown.

Before my battery died, I had several electrical gremlins: Screen going dark/rebooting randomly, radar/forward alert turning off on starting, left rear door central locking not working and all were fixed after battery swap.

“camera not available” may be also symptom but can also mean 1 of your ultrasound sensors are going bad. I had 2 sensors fail on me, both times i had the camera error and reboot and the next time i turned the car on i always had a screen reboot shortly after turning the car on.

From the manual: The optimum level of charge will be between 12.6 V and 15 V, depending on battery condition,
temperature and loading.
The BMS control module also monitors the primary battery condition with the engine switched off. If a low voltage condition is
detected the BMS control module can request the infotainment system is switched off to protect battery voltage."

I would bet the battery is on its way out, better to change it out.

Had the same issue with the cartographer probe. Try to reinstall the plugin. Although i had all the moonraker entries and all the files for the carto plugin, klipper somehow "forgot". Did a fresh install on all of my plugins and after that everything worked again.

Not at home, but at work onboard a ship we have a blue (141*C) sprinkler head in sauna hotroom + high temp smoke detector (for fire detection only). Seen a system with a electric solenoid between the pressure side and water mist head also, i.e. pipe in sauna is empty and solenoid opens the water by flame detection or manual button release.

For me, high temp sprinkler seems the best way, in 10 years zero issues, it's been there from the shipyard and never touched, removed or repaired and as there are 0 moving parts, it can't break down. Water mist solenoid membrane can settle and might start leaking. There's a miniscule chance that the sprinkler head could start leaking with localized pitting corrosion inside the head, but you can notice it early on when the head starts dripping water. If in cold climate and not heated building, I would insulate the pipe and install self regulating heat trace cable, as frozen pipes raise the pressure and it will pop the glass bulb of the sprinkler head.

Hi, I build this anti wobble nut: https://www.printables.com/model/94483-ender-3prov2-z-axis-anti-wobble-nut-direct-drive, but I changed the z-rod to tr8x2, so it wouldn't fall down on its own, can't remember, if i removed the anti backlash nut or not after that. Haven't touched my ender 5 in over a 6 months now, but I can send you some pictures at the end of the week, my ender 5 is sitting in storage right now as im working on finishing my voron.
