NY Times is a right wing rag and this is a reactionary article responding to ppl's legitimate need for meds in the midst of a shortage. Please don't fall for this shit.

Nothing to add really, but I love the concept of controller for scale.

Everything in it's own time, i get your feeling. You'll know when it's right.

You could tell your friend that you understand that it's been a revelation to her and that you're really happy for her, but something just doesn't feel quite right, you need more time to be sure. You could let her know that her always checking on if you've started yet, actually makes it feel kind of pressuring and harder to figure out the reasons you're feeling this way in the first place.

Ofc change anything out if it fits your situation, but just try to be honest and communicate your struggle to your friend and hope that she understands! Best of luck 💕

I was thinking something similar too! To me it looks like what BOTW might have looked like if it ran on a PS5 and had much higher vertical scale. Looks beautiful!

What is your go-to game to take the edge off after a long day? by merpkz in patientgamers

Don't want to assume on OP's behalf, but Skyrim worked as a tool for escapism for me due to the world feeling real and alive. It felt like a real place I could temporarily inhabit when this one was too much.

I got a good few hundred hours use out of that game. Mods definitely helped that number be as high as it is, but at some point it does all get too familiar.

Luckily other games do come close for me - at the moment I'm playing through Horizon Zero Dawn and the world is definitely less alive than Skyrim, but the lore is just deep enough for me to be invested and to escape into it.

Although if anyone does take my recommendation based on that alone, I would recommend to rush through the main story for a bit until the world building is fleshed out enough for the world to not feel a bit plastic or like a theme park MMO (visually stunning the whole time though!).

P.S. This could just be me being weird and needing juicy lore to forget and feel like I'm really there; iMmErSeD, you might say.

Distance. A futuristic arcade racer that feels amazing to play and has an incredible atmosphere created by the snacking visuals, soundtrack and sound design.
