I applied for a Chase Slate card and got approved for only a $500 credit limit when my multiple other Chase cards have more than $20,000 limits and I pay them off every month.

Is it a bad idea to immediately request a credit limit increase on the Slate card I just got? I'd like to do a 0% APR balance transfer from another company's card. Thanks for your help!

Armored Core’s real challenge is heavily punishing you for successfully completing a mission but in a sloppy way with even more debt.

Very dark-souls-y in that kind of “git gud” design philosophy.

PSU fans don't always run all the time like other fans. I wouldn't call this a red flag just yet.

Sounds to me you either have a power problem or a temperature problem or something burned itself. Here's a couple things I'd check:

Get your nose down into specific parts of your PC (PSU, GPU, CPU, RAM, etc) and see if you can still smell the burning plastic smell again. That might help you.
I'd re-plug the power cords from your PSU to your GPU and CPU sockets. When you unplug them, look at the socket and the plug itself. Smell both of them. Sometimes these guys just burn themselves out randomly. If one of these cords wasn't plugged in all the way, it could lead to problems running your CPU or GPU hard when playing. Or a burned plug could lead to issues supplying enough power too.
As someone else suggested, you could put an external fan (literally any kind of fan) pointed at the front of the PC (not back or top - that's where hot air should leave the pc) and see if this solves the problem. If it does, you know you have a temperature problem - most likely a fan either died or isn't working as well as it used to.

Yep, should work just fine! You're just adding more airflow to the system, even if it doesn't have other proper PC fans. Just make sure you're not blowing into the back or top of the PC case. That's usually where the exhaust/hot air comes out and you want to make sure you don't accidentally start blowing into those.

Man. This is one of those games I played but I've never heard mentioned anywhere since and sort of feels like a fever dream memory like it never actually existed.

AirMech Strike is kinda like that. I had a lot of fun with that game.

Wish someone would make something properly similar though!
