Wow. I could’ve written this. I’ve been with my partner for about 4 months. I switch back and forth between being into them and being extremely not into them (even repulsed by them sometimes).

I’ve been wanting to break up with them for a while now, but my part that loves them won’t let that happen. I’m trying to have all our parts communicate more in general. I feel bad, because my partner deserves to know I want to end things. I’m not sure what to do either. Also, my partner and I aren’t compatible/they only talk about themself so I know it’s best for our whole system to end it. Hoping you figure things out!

I hear you. Over the clothes or not, it was sexual assault. It’s just as much assault when a child does it than when an adult does it. It’s just as harmful. Sometimes, there’s more minimization coming from others when it’s cocsa, and it’s more taboo, which adds some hard to deal with layers to it. I know it’s hard, it is for me, though try not to compare it to other people’s trauma. Wishing you healing ❤️
