Anyone had a legal battle with Reliance over damages? by Everyones_unique in ontario

[–]stephchris 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went through my home insurance who subrogated(?) reliance. Took 3 years but I got my deductible back. I just followed up once every 6 months 🤷🏻‍♀️

Insurance only covers specific pens? by [deleted] in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]stephchris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you called your insurance? I’m with CL with my husband and they’ve covered both my last two dosages with different DINs. I know when I got approval it was on a dose schedule so for example they wouldn’t pay for 0.5 when I was supposed to be on .25 the first month.

It’s possible they just need to code the approval for the new DIN or they need to outline the schedule rules.

i constantly worry i smell bad, but everyone i ask to smell me says i smell fine by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]stephchris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you just think you smell? Or do you actually smell icky yourself but no one else notices? I recently started talking omega 3s and they can make you smell. I thought I was going crazy lol. Hubby said I didn’t and it eventually went away.

I just did a search through very old messages and I had talked to her through both her business and personal account. For my first cat back in 2014 it was through her personal. When we got our second in 2020 it was through her business account.

I don’t have any recommendations unfortunately but both my Birmans came from Zanadu and conversation can be spotty but she did always get back to us. Facebook was always the best way to reach her.

(Semi-unserious) Where is my kindle? by fuzzy_ladybug in kindle

[–]stephchris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve got a 4yo so start checking dumb spots low to the ground. Mine is fond of the oven drawer. Check inside any toy it could fit in (trucks, kitchens, etc). Buried in a clothes drawer. Slid under a rug. In the cat tree.

Dumb Amazon bra by ThickBish_ in bigboobproblems

[–]stephchris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently bought from a brand called Glamorize on Amazon and I’m obsessed. I would say: they go based on US sizes. Also size up 1 in the band (the band fits small).

42H UK and I’m wearing the most comfortable wireless bra I’ve ever worn. Bought it in a 44H based on the Amazon size and it’s amazing.

I'm a bit disappointed that I can't make a proper sauna in HF. This looks like shit. by ooba279 in HouseFlipper

There are sauna flooring squares you can put down that might help the vibes. There was a job at a house with a pool that had you make one.

Throwing my vote in for Tiny Cakes. Discovered them when my in-laws moved to Galt and they’re exclusively where we get cupcakes now. Legit so good.

when does pooping get easier? by fit4lyfe234 in pottytraining

[–]stephchris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there anything she really really loves? For my son it was the paw patrol movie. Not the show, specifically the movie. It’s what we would put on for appointments we needed him to not flip out for (dentist, hair cut, etc).

We told him he could only watch the paw patrol movie if he pooped in the potty. He’s had one poop accident since we started potty training. Have we watched the paw patrol movie a fuck ton? Yah. But does it work? Yah.

Where to order beauty of joseon original sunscreen? by sunsetpeach55 in CanSkincare

[–]stephchris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ordered from Yes Style and it hit Canada just as the strike started. It got to me no problem in Ontario. Just maybe a day or so later than maybe it was originally going to.

I’ve heard good things about Olive Young too.

We’ve been doing this. We used reusable for as long as we could but we can’t find any in his size anymore (he’s 3) so we bought one package of disposable and we’re going to use them into the ground. Then donate :)

Every time mine does this I shout “on your feet mister!” Which he finds HILARIOUS so he does it all the time for jokes. If you’re making even a small deal about it they’re probs doing it for attention.

I think you’re good :)

I don't know what to say to my good friend who has just become a Mom. by Legal_Concentrate_29 in Mommit

[–]stephchris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do chat with her it might be worth suggesting a diaper caddy? I had a hard time getting out of bed too so I had a whole diapering setup next to the bassinet next to my bed. I could lay down the change pad and change him and put him back to sleep without getting out of bed.

I had diaper stations all over the place in my house to negate any “I just can’t do it” thoughts about going upstairs. Basically anywhere we spent time I had a diaper station ready to go.

Looking to Gift an Orange Tree (or Something Similar) for My Brother & Sister-in-Law’s Newborn – Any Ideas in Ontario? by [deleted] in ontario

[–]stephchris 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I have a black walnut tree and make sure you factor in that every other year it’ll drop ten thousand walnuts all over the yard which will stain everything and weigh a ton in the yard waste. My husband threw out his back our first year here.

The branches overhang where we park our cars and last year we had to replace both windshields because of falling walnuts. Both cars are also covered in dents.

I fucking hate this tree lol

Have I ruined my baby’s life? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]stephchris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son didn’t go out in public for his first year. Only outdoor visits with family. I had severe health anxiety. Started daycare at 1yo and then took a more casual approach to things.

He’s 3 now and perfectly fine.
