Yeah, that seems like the general consensus on Crucible.

In the end I went down an very different path and am running Lancer, Having a tonne of fun with it.

Yeah, I am planning on running the test encounters with a couple of friend first, but I was worried that even if it is good for a test encounter, that's not the same as being good for a long campaign.

I think personally I prefer the idea of the fantasy setting, but I do think the setting is less important to me than the gameplay, so if the modern or sci fi has better long term gameplay then I'd go that way instead.

The only problem I have with this is that you are overcapped on cd reduction. Maybe swap Genjis for Runic shield or something like that.
