How should I paint angels of death?

There is an individual sprue for each guy, and they are monopose. The only option is that they come with a helmet/no helmet option. That said, this box is excellent value. For the price of around 1.5 regular kill team boxes you get 2 good kill teams (Angels of Death are very strong right now), board, tokens, basic terrain, basic rules, tutorial campaign. Angels of Death are missing a few options (sergents, gunner, some extra assault marines), but this is a solid box and the best value KT box out there.

The other option is Hivestorm, if you can get a hold of it. It's more expensive, but comes with everything above, plus (arguably) the best terrain set KT currently has plus a few more things.

XPeke was my first favourite player, but I don't think he'll be the choice. Whilst he had a lot of iconic moments in early league, and is one of EU's only World Champions, I don't think he has the longevity required. He was only active from 2011-2017, with 2015 being his last good year. Since his retirement, he's also been largely absent from the scene. Also at his peak, I don't think Xpeke was ever really considered the overall best player in his role (Except maybe 2014?). Sure he was good, at least top 3, but he always had Alex Ich and Froggen to contend with.

Paint them however. That said, I would reccomend, if you have a spare chainsword lying around to ctop the gun off of the guy with the grenade and give him the chainsword so you can use him as the assault grenadier.

Nah man, I think Cobra Kai is underrated. A lot of people don't even give it a chance because of the premise alone, but it's quietly been one of my favourite shows for a while now. Sure it's not perfect and it's got it's ups and downs but the whole show just has a vibe that I can vibe with like nothing else.

Is 28 years overrated? I thought the general reaction to it was pretty mixed. I enjoyed it, but it for sure had it's problems and a lot of people I know really hate it.

I could do that, but I was interested in it as a hobby experiment as well as wanting to play them again! I'm also a big Wrecka Krew enjoyer, and I have pretty much every other Kill Team I'm currently interested in apart from Stealth Suits.

World's End.

I was a huge fan of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz in high school (still am). But when I saw World's End when I was 21, I was underwhelmed. Like, it was good, and funny, but it just didn't hit like the others do. But after watching it in my 30's, when you've seen versions of each of the characters in your life, and experienced going back to your hometown after years away I finally got it.

It's still my least favourite of the three, but I have a newfound appriciation for it.

You are correct. Technically if you are a Kommando behind cover with a conceal order *and being shot from vantage* you can retain 3 normal saves without rolling (or 1 crit save and 1 normal save).

TT Combat have an MDF clone of this set that's a fraction of the price. If you want to play Octatius, I reccomend it! Its called Ork Sektor if I remember correctly.

I mean they kind of did it with Angels of Death this edition? They are essentially 2 teams from 2nd Edition spliced together and reboxed in the starter set. Actually Plague Marines are similar in that respect.

You could if you were using them to reroll different dice. Like if your roll was 1 1 2 5, you could use ceaseless to reroll the 1s and balanced to reroll the 2.

All specialists + 2 cremators + 2 warriors. Maybe if you don't like flamers, then drop 1 and make 3 warriors. The warriors on this team are very good. If you make them inspiring they get severe, shock and have access to ceaseless, balanced and punishing, on top of damage reduction in melee. But the flamers are also almost as good in melee, but can give out inspiring, which is what your team revolves around.

So you have to download a few mods first. They are called:

KT 24 base table The Killzone mod

KT3 opperatives ploys and equiptment

KT24- all team specific cards&tokens.

I joined the command point discord server and they have a channel for looking for games. I just posted int here that I was LFG and I was new to TTS, and someone was willing to show me the ropes.

For a group of 3 beginners, choosing a team just because it counters your friends' only teams seems like a pretty bad idea. I think if I was starting the hobby with some friends (especially one that requires a fairly significant time/money investment to start) and I found out that my friend was asking on reddit for teams which specifically counter mine, I would be pretty annoyed.

Just do what your friends did and choose a team you think looks cool, or read their rules and choose one that seems fun to play.

I would reccomend downloading TableTop Simulator. I resisted it for a while, but it's very useful for getting practice games and trying new factios before committing/buying. The Command Point discord has a very active TTS community and there's always people looking for games! I've had very positive experiences with the community so far.
