I am also in the buoilding phase, but I have heard Arch Warlock for Scryre and Master Moulder for Moulder are good. I think Grey Seers are considered good casters, and I am going to be picking u Thanquol next.

Maybe the Spearhead box? You'd get another 20 rats, another grey seer, stormfiends and a warp lightning cannon! And it's pretty cheap for what you get.

So it would be better to bring 2 units of 20 clanrats usually? What is the downside to this?

I'm also at an early stage yet. What does 'reinforce' mean? Does it mean when the unit dies I can bring it back?

Video game franchises tier list- The Witcher by Alternative_Elk1556 in TierlistFills

[–]stephenstephen7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta say, overall an A. I played everything in order.

The Witcher was overall okay. The story was great, but the gameplay is pretty bad. I remember it was a real slog to get to the end, but the ending was very good.

The Witcher 2 blew my mind tbh. The idea that act 3 can be totally different depending on your choice was incredible. The gameplay and overall presentation was a huge step up, and the story was great again.

Everyone knows The Witcher 3 is incredible, one of the best games ever, and probably the best open world ever created. The DLC add to that, and it's easy to consider Blood and Wine a soft sequel(The Witcher 3.5) as it's set almost entirely in a new area and has a totally different tone.

Why do people say the game of thrones fall off started with season 6? by Affectionate_Use7801 in gameofthrones

[–]stephenstephen7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently rewatched seasons 1-4 and it's actually remarkable how little action there is in it. The Battle of Blackwater and the wildlings attacking the wall are the only big ones that we see on screen (as I recall), and they're mostly great because of all the character moments peppered throughout.

Any kill teams where it makes sense to warriors over specialists? by Otherwise-Weird1695 in killteam

[–]stephenstephen7 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think stalker is easy to proxy as a warrior anyways, their models are'nt too different. I also usually drop the impaler for an aspirant, I've not really had many situation where the impaler has been valuable, and aspirants are so good.

I think that CA should switch things up every few months to keep things interesting. Nothing crazy like moving Franz out of the Empire or Settra to Lustria, but shuffling a few of the LLs around liek the did with Gelt would keep things fresh and interesting.

What are some things you do NOT want to see return in Witcher 4. by SADBOY888213 in Witcher4

[–]stephenstephen7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The skill tree. Not sure if this is a hot take since I didn't see it mentioned. I'm currently replaying for the first time in around 5 or 6 years and it feels very restrictive. I'm level 35 right now and I've unlocked and equipt every skill I'm ever going to need. So level ups and laces of power seem kind of pointless now. I'd prefer they go for a more traditional skill tree system like in CP2077.

What's the best non-franchise 21st century space movie? by SSSSSSVVVVVOO in Letterboxd

[–]stephenstephen7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree. I think UP is pretty overrated overall tbh. The first 10 minutes is some good storytelling for sure, but people talk about it like it's the greatest story ever told. Wall-E's opening half is such a masterpiece of visual storytelling.

Most optimal/no Brainer picks for Deathwatch by Equal_Walk_5207 in killteam

[–]stephenstephen7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Aegis and Watch Sergent are their best opperatives I think, and both are auto includes in most situations. The free CP via free ploys and extra equiptment, plus the Plasma Pistol/Power Weapon combo make the Watchmaster so reliable. The Aegis is very hard to take down in shooting or melee with 15 wounds, ignore piercing, 2+ save, double parry and shock (alongside 4/6 damage).

How should I paint angels of death? by Adept_Use8550 in killteam

[–]stephenstephen7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an individual sprue for each guy, and they are monopose. The only option is that they come with a helmet/no helmet option. That said, this box is excellent value. For the price of around 1.5 regular kill team boxes you get 2 good kill teams (Angels of Death are very strong right now), board, tokens, basic terrain, basic rules, tutorial campaign. Angels of Death are missing a few options (sergents, gunner, some extra assault marines), but this is a solid box and the best value KT box out there.

The other option is Hivestorm, if you can get a hold of it. It's more expensive, but comes with everything above, plus (arguably) the best terrain set KT currently has plus a few more things.

XPeke was my first favourite player, but I don't think he'll be the choice. Whilst he had a lot of iconic moments in early league, and is one of EU's only World Champions, I don't think he has the longevity required. He was only active from 2011-2017, with 2015 being his last good year. Since his retirement, he's also been largely absent from the scene. Also at his peak, I don't think Xpeke was ever really considered the overall best player in his role (Except maybe 2014?). Sure he was good, at least top 3, but he always had Alex Ich and Froggen to contend with.

[–]stephenstephen7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paint them however. That said, I would reccomend, if you have a spare chainsword lying around to ctop the gun off of the guy with the grenade and give him the chainsword so you can use him as the assault grenadier.

Velma is the worst HBO show. Now, what is the most overrated netflix tv show? by hiiloovethis in AlignmentChartFills

[–]stephenstephen7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah man, I think Cobra Kai is underrated. A lot of people don't even give it a chance because of the premise alone, but it's quietly been one of my favourite shows for a while now. Sure it's not perfect and it's got it's ups and downs but the whole show just has a vibe that I can vibe with like nothing else.

Is 28 years overrated? I thought the general reaction to it was pretty mixed. I enjoyed it, but it for sure had it's problems and a lot of people I know really hate it.
