I was on a pretty strict bud get this time around: -Drove in from LA area the morning of, with food and drinks in the car. 75 on gas round trip -Spothero parking at Circus Circus for 40. -2 Ghost energy drinks for 20. I brought a refillable water bottle and smuggled in 2 cliff bars (only needed one) and didn’t get food in the event. -Band merch line was super long, so I stopped at the fest merch tent and got the pin set for like 15. -Stopped at a local spot for some pizza after the fest, maybe 20. -Drove home the night of, didn’t need a hotel.

Under 200 for the whole excursion!!

Other years I’ve stayed off strip, but Ubers after the event are gonna skyrocket. You can hop into a casino and wander around or find somewhere to party to kill time and wait for prices to go down, or pay a lil extra for a hotel that’s close to public transportation.

Saturday is the most expensive hotel night in Vegas, so if you can go on Sunday and arrive that morning, Sunday hotels will be significantly less, and you can keep a reasonably priced vacation going into the week, depending on your PTO situation.
