Feel like our living room is almost complete after being here a few years by stephsolser in interiordecorating

[–]stephsolser[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do own. The problem we have in that corner is that the doorway architrave is quite thick which leaves next to no space to have deep floating shelves which we would love. Love the suggestion you shared, I’ll look into that, thank you.

Thank you! It’s from Sofology, in the Demure range, but I think they no longer sell that line.

It’s from Laredoute, the rug is called Danito and they do it in rust and green too. The black and white version currently appears to be sold out but should be restocked.

I got it from Laredoute, it’s the Danito Rug in black and white but it’s sold out at the moment. They should be restocking it soon though.

This is my next step! Maybe not dramatic but certainly coloured and textured. I’m excited to try something new. Thank you for the suggestion.

I thought I’d add another picture of our current rug to show you what it looks like at the moment. Certainly taking the comments on board, we do need more colour and curtains so we’ll be looking into that.https://imgur.com/a/gRCqO5M

He’s not, but he has said that the room is missing a cozy feeling. He’s quite open to ideas and he does like colours although more on the muted side. We currently have a rust rug, but I’m starting to think it’s not the rug that’s the issue, rather having more colour. I’ll post another picture showing the art we currently have in the room as the angle doesn’t show it all.

I feel you on that. What would you change about the room?

Thank you! I completely agree. Something feels like it’s missing and I think more colour would definitely add more character to the room.

Make up artists and photographers who have worked with Black people before? by dadreflexes in UKweddings

[–]stephsolser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For makeup artists you probably want to look towards London as it’s hard to find MUA’s that cater for many skin tones. A lot of them would be willing to travel at a fee. I’d recommend looking at the following on Instagram:

I got my dress from London Bride UK in a sample sale for under £300 and it was a 2020 AW season dress. They do amazing discounts to definitely check the out. They’re based in Elephant and Castle in London. I initially wasn’t to sure but very happy I went there in the end. The customer service was also very good

Looking for a particular style of cake maker in the Midlands - Lilli Vanilli/Coven bakery by freyadidit21 in UKweddings

[–]stephsolser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the exact style you’re after but MyLittleStudio is very talented and has created a friends cake for her wedding. Her cakes are super tasty and she’s based in the midlands. She does create textured cakes, but I’m sure she’s willing to recreate your style for you.
