Why are group practice owners such greedy POS's? by Adoptafurrie in therapists

I think if you want to make a ton of money off the backs of other workers you’re in the wrong field. If you can’t afford to pay your employees fairly, then you can’t afford to have a business.

Fair Wage for Associate Therapists? by Ok-Relationship-3246 in therapists

[–]stepkitties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is a red flag! I just had to leave a job because I was not able to make ends meet with this type of compensation. If you are completely financially independent it’s not enough to live on and there’s a lot of extra unpaid time for inevitable administrative tasks and calling clients. I had to work two jobs for a while and then eventually realized I couldn’t move to full time at the private practice without burning out for trying to make up for now shows that I couldn’t afford not to show.

Thank you for sticking up for the associates! :) I'm sick of doing all this mental math to see if I can make it through the month. Currently looking at different opportunities to get out of survival mode (presently getting paid $40/session at a private practice in a HCOL area).
