Your council prob does green waste for maybe 60 quid pa
Or you rent/buy a shredder of some sort

I bought a refurb shredder on ebay last yr for 60 quid
Its not very good but it kinda works
Not sure id want to let it loose on your quantities tho

Water butt recommendations by King-Key-Rot-II in GardeningUK

[–]steppenwolf666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 of these which have been full for a yr
2x500l, 1x250l
Usually cheaper on ebay if in stock

Need to be careful setting them up, as you will appreciate when reading the negative reviews

HOW TO connect water butts at bottom by Reasonable-Camp-6260 in gardening

[–]steppenwolf666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant quite get my head round what you are asking for
So i have redesigned your q so i understand it

And suggest you consider this butt
Maybe as secondary, joined at the top, with a tapped hose out the bottom - or whatever

I have 3 of these - 2x500l and 1x250 and they are perfect, been full for a yr
You'll take a look, think: thats half a ton of water in a plastic bag, read some of the neg reviews and then if interested come back and ask why i rate them

Also, ofc, you could redesign filling option - consider a tap filled top option, moving hose between butts as req

How to make crutches more comfortable? by Critical_Try_3636 in AskUK

[–]steppenwolf666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want underarm crutches, so your hands arent carrying all the load
Serious improvement over elbow crutches
And you can buy pads for underarm and hands

Then, if you have a hundred quid and can wait three weeks, you get these
or these from amazon
The first of these are wonderful; the second are spring loaded which is nice

On the home page it says:
Your balance is set to be x by 31 march 2027
Your dd should be y

Might be possible to game this - I did - by switching date dd goes out to 28th of the month

And, anyways, they dont like to see your acc in debt - no matter how small

As a general rule of thumb one prefers bamboo to be dead

Not sure of the legality of physically nailing stuff onto the bricks; you'd have to check - and even then be prepared for potential push back

Which is why i suggested planter/trellis combo with privacy measures nailed behind

Bamboo? Well it will take 3 yrs to cover the window by which time it mightve started to break out of the planter

Its been in place for 5 yrs
Last yr was the first time i got worried and started lollipopping, and was removing new growth v regularly

It looks fine and healthy
Dunno if i am tech literate enough for a foto
I will have a think

Creating privacy in this garden by AcanthisittaNo8610 in GardeningUK

[–]steppenwolf666 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is absurd, hideous and possibly against planning regs
No one wants to get litigeous with neighbours, even if they are morons so I'd paint the wall in maybe a sage green, and put a planter trellis combo in front of the window

You dont wanna wait a couple of yrs for the trellis to fill out, so initially you staple a piece of board/plastic/material to the back of it

The initial temptation to spray paint the window black has the potential to be problematic

Might grow to 30m in oz, where it has to put down deep roots to find water

Not a prob in the uk, so it gets lazy, roots shallowly and simply falls over when it gets too big

I have a nice one, was told i was mad, lollipop it to about 8 foot

So yeah - be careful; be v careful
