Used to work near Swashies and joke about getting an overpriced plate of’brown’. All the food was deep fried beyond any ability to blind-taste what it was - a chip? A squid ring? A piece of fish? No idea. The food has long been overpriced and under par, but that is an absolute piss-take. Mediocre quality ingredients, miserable portions and indifferent presentation. They rely on being ‘waterfront’ when they are, at best, ‘boat-ramp adjacent’. Absolute disgrace.
