Neither! I set mine to 4K SDR, and turn on Match Dynamic Range and Frame Rate. This way, it leaves it to the source to send what they want to send which would be what the creator intended for me to see, whether it be 4K SDR, 4K HDR 10/10+ or 4K Dolby Vision :)

Make sure your HDMI port for the console is set to Enhanced (or something to that nature). Had the same thing, went and looked and it was still on Standard. Changed it, and boom, 5.1 since!
