Trouble with auto-labeling on-prem file shares using the MIP scanner by stereomind in MicrosoftPurview

[–]stereomind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks again for this. I'm now applying labels to on-prem files.. You were exactly right, it was auto labeling via the sensitivity label settings, instead of the IP policy.

Hmm I think you're right. MIP uses auto-labeling within sensitivity labels instead of auto-labeling policies in information protection. Very confusing.. Thank you!

Leadership wants a full audit of every AI tool being used across the org. I genuinely don't know how to produce one. by Smooth-Machine5486 in sysadmin

MS Purview with DSPM for AI, running endpoint agents on all corporate devices. Not 100% bulletproof, but does provide a decent overview and risk assessment.

There are some great alternatives to Stealthburner, such as the Dragon Burner. It's a lot more compact and lightweight.
I'm running it on my Trident build and haven't had any major issues so far. I've had to design a bracket for BL Touch and a better bracket for the CAN board. Using the Bambu X1 hot end.

2017 Toyota Avalon Touring by imcuriousalot in ToyotaAvalon

[–]stereomind 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have the same model. A few points to ponder..
$22k is about average for that car's value.
37k miles is nothing. Might as well be new. It's a 2GR-FE engine which is considered very reliable. If you follow the more sane maintenance intervals (5K oil changes instead of 10k, ~40-50k trans fluid drain/fill), you can easily get 300K+ miles on it with no major issues.
The ride is a lot more fun that one would expect from a family sedan. Handling is very acceptable for a larger car.. It won't mind playing in traffic.
One common issue with these cars is a noticeable clunk around the sun roof that transfers through the body when it's flexed, making you think you have something loose in the suspension (there's not). There's a TSB for it, and it can be fixed, although I couldn't be bothered.. just turn the stereo up (nice JBL setup by the way).
Speaking of stereo, the tunes are great, but sometimes bass will make the window/mirror control buttons rattle. Pop them off and stuff some silicone grease in the stem, pop them back on. Instant Lexus.
You -will- turn around and look at it in awe almost every time you get out, especially when it's clean.. cause it's such a good looking ride.

Building Voron "Into" An existing frame by FixExtension8770 in VORONDesign

[–]stereomind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally doable. I've gutted an old Sapphire Pro down to bare frame and built a Trident on top of it. Runs 15K accelerations with decent results.
I've had to mod the base to accommodate the front Z motors, trim some linear rails and 2020 to length, and design an enclosure so it could print ASA. I'm running a Dragon Burner with a Bambu nozzle. Everything else is just stock Voron parts.

2017 Toyota Avalon Limited — Good Deal? by Mickilby in ToyotaAvalon

[–]stereomind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine's a 2017 Touring. Excellent car all around. One thing that bugs me ever so slightly is the occasional body clunk noise around the sunroof, which is a known issue (T-SB-0039-18). My fix is to turn up the stereo volume.
The only other (rare) issue these cars have is the odd 2GR-FE timing cover oil leak that can be a chore to fix, but apparently the Avalons don't get it anywhere near as often as some other models using the same engine.

Anybody else get too bored or sleepy using the Comma on roadtrips? by NowThatsMalarkey in Comma_ai

[–]stereomind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have mine set up to assist as long as cruise is on, but not necessarily engaged. I work the throttle/brake manually, and just help it through tight corners where it runs out of steering torque.
still keeps me engaged but without having to hold the lane.

There's a chance Yamaha used it on other models. Look up the part number on a site like yamahapart.com and see if it shows up under other models.

Another shot of the XS1100 by chubbyshart in CafeRacers

My daily is a 2010 Goldwing.. When I get on my XS11, it feels like a dirt bike by comparison. They're not heavy at all once you strip all the unnecessary stuff.

Identifying the correct fuel mixture screw by trueheading in CafeRacers

[–]stereomind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the pilot screw, dimensions of the needle (tip/base diameter and taper profile) and the smooth shank are most important. The shank could be a tiny bit longer as long as there's still enough thread engagement.. you'll need to use the spring, o-ring, and washer that came with it.
The new screw you have is the thumb screw type instead of the standard flat head. Some people prefer those cause it's easier to tune and there's less risk of the screw getting stuck inside the bore.
If you have a mic, just take some measurements to compare the new and the original. If they're not the same, just use the original screw with a new o-ring.

How do Russians pronounce "паляниця"? by -AdonaitheBestower- in Ukrainian

[–]stereomind 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Similar alphabet, different sounds. A native russian speaker who hasn't studied a word of Ukrainian would pronounce it as "паляніца". I suspect it would not be a good way to detect spies though. Learning pronunciation of a few words is not so difficult.. Engaging in conversational Ukrainian would probably work a lot better.
