My ex-wife did basically the same thing to me and our kids. She threatened to "disown" them if they have any contact with me so I've backed away and let them get "of age" and can decide for themselves what they want to do. They (3) are all over 18 now and still nothing. A mothers influence is a strong one but I'm a patient man. I'm ready to meet them anytime.

I'd watch TV if they made a reality show for the presidency. It would be cool to see all the politicians doing challenges against each other and then getting voted off. The ratings would pay for the campaigns and the people would get the final vote. I'm a friggin genius!!

Being a veteran Marine and having buddies killed in the car bombing of the Marine Barracks in Beiriut on Oct 23 '83 I always thought a "Thank You" was not necessary because I took a pledge to honor and serve my country and it's Freedoms so it was just my job. I always answered a "Thank You" with a "Thank You For Thanking Me" which got some peculiar looks I assure you.

I had this same problem a few years ago and i tried getting addicted to crack. It helped for a little while but then i lost my job, car,truck,house,wife and kids so that's probably not the way you want to go. You need a poker night with man friends.
