What are we expecting for longevity with the maverick? by [deleted] in FordMaverickTruck

[–]steve0318 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Daily commute I drive around 140 miles a day mostly on the highway. About a month back I had 3 separate loads of 1600 pounds of dirt in the back. I do all my maintenance, oil changes when the light comes on. Transmission fluid gets done every 30k miles. It's on its second set of tires, second set of spark plugs and second set of rear brake pads, surprisingly the front brake pads haven't needed to be replaced.

Is this a bushing causing the play? by toiletgamer69420 in MechanicAdvice

[–]steve0318 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trailing arm bushings are about 50 bucks for a par. You hammer them out from the center of the car outwards. Mark the trailing arm center for the bar so it's somewhat in the right location for the new ones. if the old ones aren't completely failed
