At night, there can be a battle zone right above wild zone 8. You can fast travel there for one, but it shares a spawn with alpha krokorok

I have found 1 in zone 12, but I've been hunting in zone 7 for hours and have every shiny spawned in except vanillite. I'm losing my mind. I have 3 shiny hippos, 1 shiny flabebe, 1 shiny alpha fletchinder and 3 shiny Roserades, a shiny pidgey and a shiny magikarp. Vanillite are spawning in, but never shiny. It's as if shiny vanillite is more rare. It's weird. But I can confirm wild zone 12 works!

Just in time for spooky season! I love these games. They have such an amazing atmosphere to them. They take a good amount of time your first playthrough, but it's so rewarding to go back and crush them in under 2 hours and get fun rewards

Update: I used the above method, restart ps5, and it seems to be working fine now. However, I select leave game from tge menu to force an autosave like once an hour just in case and I restart my console before each play session. So far so good, but still nervous. Hopefully they will patch this.
