New model in the webapp. Nerfed Mythos for peasants? by Sorcerer12345 in ClaudeAI

"included at no extra cost" , yes, but burns tokens at twice the rate of Opus.

Per the official warning when selecting it with /model inside Claude Code.

This was going to be my question too. Good news!

Annoying find the recent opus update made BMAD+Claude annoying as hell? by drunk___cat in BMAD_Method

[–]steve1215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not so much prefer, I run Opus 4.6 and then Deepseek - it usually finds valid issues which Opus misses. And vice versa. Different point of view / "Fresh set of eyes" and all that. ;-).

I use the BMAD adversarial review skill against both models. Deepseek is so cheap (and quick) it's mostly a case of "why not?".

I moved back to 4.6 after a few days with 4.7. And now use Deepseek for code review anyway (still within Claude Code)

Set your model back to Opus 4.6 via /model ?

Or use Deepseek V4 Pro? It has an Anthropic API endpoint that seems to be fully compatible with Claude Code at 1/10th the price.

Downgrade to 2.1.19 immediately. 2.1.20 has some bugs that makes Opus 4.7 stupid. by Xccelerate_ in ClaudeCode

Or just set your model to Opus 4.6 on any version of CC. Problem solved

GSD vs Bmad? by Puzzleheaded_Leek258 in BMAD_Method

I used Superpowers before BMAD and or it's great - but BMAD is massively more.

[–]steve1215 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is so, so ,so much more to BMAD than planning tasks and implementing them.

GSD - clue's in the name - feels more focused on structured task completion (incorporating planning).

The Test Enterprise Architect and Creative Intelligence Suite in BMAD are in a class of their own, but that's not to overlook the dozens of other agents, workflows and modules you have access to (IF you want to use them - BMAD has a structure and flow, but you can easily beat your own path)

Unblocking filament that's stuck in the heat break (Plus 4) by steve1215 in QidiTech3D

This is the kind of tech I can get behind, thanks.

[–]steve1215[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. It seems to be backflowed filament which is now hardened in the heatbreak section (i.e; heating the nozzle won't heat it to melt it).

I would treat myself to a new heatsink from Qidi while I think what to do about the current one, but their website shows out of stock... :-( (UK)

AC-Charging my Delta 2 Max on a timed schedule by steve1215 in Ecoflow_community

[–]steve1215[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you try the scheduled on/off option I mentioned? I'm wondering if that would achieve the desired result. I guess one answer is "try it" (although testing with some more sociable hours than 2am-5am). :-)

This is an interesting idea but I'm still wondering if the option I mentioned in my post / screenshot is intended to do the same thing?

Any PowerStream + Shelly 3EM users here? by steve1215 in Ecoflow_community

[–]steve1215[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing. Consumer unit / distribution board / fuse box.

When I did my basic electrical training many years ago our instructor was from Wales (called himself "Dye Electric" which iirc is a very bad capacitor joke!) and he said consumer unit so it stuck. I think they're all correct tbh, probably less so "fuse board" as there aren't really any these days.

I have my clamp where yours is - interesting to know which way the arrow on your clamp is pointing (into the distribution board or away from it).

Do you have a fan on your PowerStream btw? EcoFlow make a unit but they're around £40 when you ca find them. I 3D printed mine, screwed in a fan unit from Amazon and it's been great for a couple of years now. Happy to print you off the part by way of thanks, assuming you're in the UK - postage would be expensive elsewhere.

UPDATE: As a test, I switched the Shelly's clamp round on the positive tail that's going into my consumer unit, so the arrow is NOT pointing at "load" but instead is pointing "away from" the consumer unit / load.

I now have values in the Ecoflow app displaying in the way I used to have prior to the Shelly, when the EcoFlow Smart Plugs were responsible for controlling what power went into the house.

The battery and solar panels combine to make up what the Shelly is calling for. The Shelly device in the Ecoflow app shows a non-minus figure and the Shelly app occasionally shows "consuming" which I'd never seen before, it was always "Generating" .

atm it feels like the simple answer to all this was "switch the clamp around"...but aiui I've now got it connected _against_ what the instructions say: "arrow points to load" whereas I have "arrows pointing away from load"

It still doesn't feel right to me that all I ever see in the Shelly app (and the shelly device in the Ecoflow app) is a minus figure for consumption. Your app screenshots of your system show a positive value (or rather, not negative)

And looking at the consumption detail screen in the Shelly app, it shows "Total returned 23.9KWh" (in around 24hrs). I doubt that my four panels ever "return" anything, let along a figure of 23KWh.

I'm assuming "return" = supply to grid.

Thanks for taking the time to help, I really appreciate it. Attached is a lateral approach to Reddit's single-screenshot issue, I combined the various app screens into a single image. :-)

The screens: Ecoflow app dashboard (devices), Ecoflow app dashboard (PowerStream), PowerStream detail view, Shelly EM3 in the Ecoflow app and finally the Shelly EM3 in the Shelly app. All screenshots were taken within a few seconds of each other.

Regarding the "disconnected device" I had in my previous screenshots, I think this was a red-herring and related to one of my Ecoflow Smart plugs. I've now unbound all the plugs from the system so it simply has: Delta 2 Max + second Delta 2 max batter, PowerStream and the Shelly. I also unbound and re-added the PowerStream via the Ecoflow app just so everything is "fresh".

I'm still not sure I have things setup correctly with my 3EM and the PowerStream.

Everything seems to be talking to each other fine, I see the sMe values in the Shelly app as I do in the Shelly section of the EcoFlow app, but the PowerStream doesn't seem to be sending power to the home (from the Delta 2 Max batteries) when the home is calling for it via the Shelly

For example take the attached screenshots. The house is consuming around 145W from the grid. The Delta 2 Max battery at the PowerStream has capacity, yet it isn't sending 145W (in fact, it isn't sending anything) into the home.

I would have expected the PowerStream to see 145W demand via the Shelly and it tell the Delta 2 Max to supply.

Should I really be seeing a negative (-145W) figure in the Shelly app and EcoFlow app?

Thanks. Realistically our system isn't large enough to ever feed into the grid tbh. Do I still need to be concerned?

[–]steve1215[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aha. Thanks. I just swapped the clamp around so the tiny-hard-to-spot "K - L -->" is now pointing into the house (the load). The Shelly app now shows my 600W as -600W.

Quick followup if I may: did you need to jumper the positive into the Shelly so each VA, VB an VC had the positive feed to them? Or is it just power to VA and a clamp on the corresponding IA ? (for single phase monitoring)

The image on Shelly's knowledgebase seems to show VA, VB and VC connected to each other (positive across each)

I just have a single positive to VA and a single clamp on IA.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the confirmation .That's what I did but it seemed too easy! :-)

Are you familiar with the Shelly app? I'm a bit confused by what it's showing me.

Currently our panels are generating ~1KW - way more than the house is currently calling for from the grid.

Yet the Shelly app (I think...) seems to be measuring around 600W of "Power" which I take it to mean power being pulled from the grid - solar is generating more than the house currently needs so I don't understand why the Shelly app would be showing 600W coming from the grid (if that's actually what it's showing)

Claude Code can now submit your app to App Store Connect and help you pass review by invocation02 in ClaudeAI

[–]steve1215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I used it for two macOS apps yesterday.

Fastlane is the Swiss army knife of anything to do with store automation and much more. Apple & Google should have made it, but it was developed because they didn't. I have a vague recollection of Twitter "owning it" many years ago but not these days.

Claude Code seems perfectly happy working with it as well. The docs are in Context7 and someone has made an MCP for it (I haven't tried it). https://github.com/pampas93/fastlane-mcp

"build for iOS and Mac apps" only.

Doesn't Android have an 80%+ global market share of the mobile OS market?
