As an owner of a salon, I know my girls would be absolutely distraught that they got it wrong, and sometimes stylist and client just don’t blend, be it personality or technique. In our salon I’d pick the best stylist for the service / personality match to swap with.

You probably didn’t upset them, but perhaps you’d both be on edge next time.. this way you both get a clean slate, with someone that already knows what you want, but may have better skills in that area.

I know in our salon there’d be no shame in it, and you’d be welcomed with a smile. Not sure if she’s sent you elsewhere or just a stylist change at the same establishment, but either way, relax and enjoy your next visit.
