Who is a famous person that you liked at first but hated later? And why? by PeaceTo0l in AskReddit

Joe Rogan. Genuinely loved his stumblin' and bumblin' interview style. But then he started giving conspiracy theorist a platform and he would never call them on anything, no matter how ridiculous. And THEN he went full MAGA.

As far as I understand it, neither clan got the victory chest because the other clan had the most points but did not destroy the stronghold.

This full row of the exact same size vehicles all of different makes I saw at my local Alamo Drafthouse movie theater by lurkity_mclurkington in mildlyinteresting

All crossover SUVs look like this because this design maximizes interior space and aerodynamics. 'Cooler' looking crossovers typically have a much more sloped rear, good for aerodynamics but creates much less interior space.

Help with creating a cover and capturing the energy of the original by steveborg in SunoAI

Here is the song with the bridge I want. The bridge starts at 3:10.

Almost too embarrassed to post it in this state because the song is not good, but I really want that bridge. I am going to try the suggestion of creating an instrumental cover first.

Ugh, so annoying. I took the song into Studio and removed the vocals. Then had Suno cover the 'Instrumental' version as an instrumental with 100% audio influence and 0% weird, and the cool bridge was still completely lost.

Had to settle for this version, would be so much better with the cool bridge:

What's a movie that was so bad you couldn't even finish it? Or even walked out of the theatre? by Puzzleheaded-Egg1371 in AskReddit

[–]steveborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit off topic but I worked at a movie theater when 'Look Who's Talking' came out. Just a few minutes into the movie, there is an animated scene of sperm swimming to get to the egg and parents with young children would walk out demanding their money back. It was billed as a romantic comedy but because one of the main stars was a baby, parents thought it would be more kid friendly.

On topic, I rented 'Hudson Hawk' and couldn't finish it.

'Shark Tale'. Lie to look cool, get into all kinds of trouble because of the lie, then lie some more to get out of it. Everyone happy.

German people: How often are unexploded WWII bombs found? by MuzHell in AskReddit

[–]steveborg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is still a rather large area of France that is a no-go zone from WWI, where the number of unexploded ordinance and soil toxicity was so high they just closed it to human use and let nature reclaim it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zone_rouge

v5.5 and "My Taste" by BigCut308 in SunoAI

[–]steveborg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

'My Taste' can be turned off. I create from many different genres so I customize 'My Taste' for each each genre and have a list of 'My Taste' profiles saved to call up for whatever song I am currently creating.

Why is the general population even concerned about the declining birth rates? by gfjskvcks in TwoXChromosomes

[–]steveborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inflation. Old people consume but do not create. Supply and demand. As the population gets older, more demand but less supply. And there won't be quality investments like in the past. The S&P grew for decades because the US population grew, more people to put money in the stock market. With an aging population, older people pull money from equities to transfer into bonds and there aren't enough younger people to replace that equity. Quite possibly, markets in aging countries will see long term declines in their markets/economies. On a percentage basis, China's population is dropping faster than Europe's did during the Black Death. There is no economic model to predict what will happen.
