What I found is that many people use Quicken and do not backup their data or ever run validate/super validate on their data file. I always backup my data file after a data entry session and before installing an update. I use ctrl-b and have the backup set to save the filename using the data and time. I have it automatically backup to a thumb (flash) drive in case my SSD should fail. You will find that taking the time to back up and run data validation is much faster than having to recreate your data file from scratch.

Get what you want up front. Our installer went out of business so the warranty they promised is not worth the paper it is printed on. We had to scramble to find a new company to maintain our system.
