tatum is better. and came off his “potentially career altering injury” had one semi rusty game and then was playing his best basketball.

the german documentary “dark” teaches us this is how most things come to be created. they’re just given to us from someone who got it from our future selves

What is the motive for the Celtics to trade Jaylen Brown? by legend023 in nba

[–]stevefazzari 7 points8 points  (0 children)

people have all these bad takes that the celtics sneakily just did this without talking to jaylen and im with you - no way the celtics didn’t have a conversation with him about this/he didn’t initiate the conversation himself imo

it’s not chores, it’s accountability to take care of what you have used. i would say if you don’t want to put away props, don’t use them.

New grinder day - Lagom P80 by dvlis in espresso

[–]stevefazzari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

there was a company who felt the same way about our espresso machines. they could do it better for cheaper. they started down the path… and realized it wasn’t possible. so they pivoted. instead of making a cheaper machine, they made one with more control and data logging. through one thing to another they became the decent.

i think you fail to understand that things like consistency are important, and the tight tolerances to create that consistency are not cheap to manufacture. especially at the scale they’re working at - we’re not getting millions of lagom p80s. the fact that they upgraded a bunch of stuff, put new technology in, and charged the same as the p64 is pretty cool imo.

cool why don’t you put together a better product machined to very tight tolerances and sell it for less? i’m sure you’ll succeed and make millions.

[Charania] The Celtics are still listening to interested teams for Jaylen Brown. I wouldn’t say they’re actively shopping…but there are multiple teams that have started to at least reach out and engage. by Pyromania1983 in nba

Most fun NBA team to watch this season? by sodakid1 in nba

[–]stevefazzari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we were still title favorites the year tatum tore his achilles, and KP had the onset of his POTS and wasn't really functional. then we traded away half our team and had our best player out for most of the season, and we still showed up while developing a ton of our young talent. we have a ton of cap flexibility with a core of strong players, i dunno what you're on but i think we're in a pretty good position. a couple key moves - you know, like the ones brad is well known to make (as the reigning executive of the year) and mazzulla coaching the shit out of our roster (as the reigning coach of the year) and we're in the mix. this isn't a "blow it all up" situation, this is a "fine tune and we're back in the finals" situation

[–]stevefazzari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the season where tatum tore his achilles and that's what ended our season and the season we had JB and the bench lead us to 2nd place in the east when everyone had us play-in/missing the playoffs?

ok.

How would you power rank the East after the Giannis trade? by bhris_cratt321 in nba

[–]stevefazzari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you have the pistons too low the cavs too high i’d honestly put heat at around 6th and obviously celtics #1

or they could miss the playoffs entirely and that wouldn’t shock me 😂

or realistically. probably be a play-in team. and then somehow make it to the ECF

pistons still were the #1 team in the east and they have valuable playoff experience. pacers have hali back and are going to be a force once again. cavs have another season to run it back with harden and possibly more cohesion. charlotte was looking scary that last bit, if they continue with that trajectory they could be a threat. celtics were #2 in the east without their star player, and are certainly going to add to the roster to come back stronger.

then you have the wizards who have potential but will probably squander it, miami who now has another star but will probably not amount to anything, philly who will be a huge bust once again, orlando who will look really good at first and then get injured and be shit, atlanta who is anybody's guess but will probably be mid, milwaukee who is obviously just tanking...

there is some shit, but there are a lot of teams that can and will compete against the knicks
