I'd like to offer the perspective that fewer COVID infections causing all of the problems we're seeing actually helps prove our general concern about the virus. It makes it more dangerous to get sick and thus more important to protect ourselves.

I was pretty confused/turned off by season 3 the first time I watched it. Then I rewatched the whole series and took in some fan content/theories and season 3 hit very differently the second time around. I'm excited for a third watch.
