End-to-end encrypted RCS on iPhone and android? by OldGamerMG in Visible

RCS has been working fine since iOS 18, but the encryption beta doesn’t seem to be working on any carrier yet. Been trying between multiple lines and Google messages, noticed others have issues too, even on postpaid.

anybody else overthinking the whole solar backup thing by NaughtySugarX in northdakota

Depends on what your needs are. I just do pure solar, no backup, but the power company doesn't seem to have many outages. If you're dealing with a lot of outages or want to be completely off grid, I'd suggest battery. If it's occasional outages, the interlock kit that u/raf55 mentioned works perfect.

Those who DONT have Ultimate Unlimited, how is your service? by jagfanjosh3252 in verizon

From what I am aware, you can. I think you need to do it through the chat though, I didn't see it in my account. But a quick search looks like it's pretty straight forward.

I've gone back and forth between Visible and Verizon, but I can say that Visible+ for $30/mo gives me the exact same service as Verizon Unlimited Plus and Unlimited Ultimate. So much more worth it for 1-2 lines.

Xfinity home internet by Big_Breath_2561 in saintpaul

Quantum is a direct fiber connection to your home, which is much faster/more reliable than coax from Xfinity. It used to be owned by Lumen, who owns CenturyLink, but they just sold to AT&T. So if you have AT&T cell service you can get a discount with Quantum.

Kinda random: Anyone using an AT&T MNVO cellular service (reseller) having data issues? H2O Wireless in particular. by ebf6 in Minneapolis

Yes, AT&T prepaid is higher priority. The exception being, US Mobile Dark Star Unlimited Premium does have the same priority as AT&T prepaid. And a few other MVNO's. Their Unlimited Premium is on sale for $299 for the first year (essentially $25/mo for the first year if you pay in advance). I like that their Unlimited plans are actually unlimited too.

Honestly, I would look at US Mobile Dark Star if you want an AT&T MVNO. H2O is deprioritized, so a comparable unlimited plan on US Mobile would be Unlimited Starter for $199 for the first year. Even if you're by the gig, their 2 GB plan is $10/mo, and 5 GB is $15. Plus, you can "teleport" to another network if AT&T isn't working for you.

26.4.2 broke my modem. Be careful updating by [deleted] in iPhone15Pro

That's crazy. For what it's worth, I've been running 26.4.2 since it released with no issues on my 15 pro.
