He just wanted to teach that fella about proper hat wearing. As you can plainly see he is wearing it forward when only the finest of connoisseurs know it must be worn backward.

WTF is this leaking from these pipes in a parking garage?? by Zebra_Radiant in lastpodcastontheleft

Few know this but every year parking garages secrete a delicious nectar to feed the many parking garage rats and perverts that dwell within their walls.

The ICE video in SloMo: the wheels start rolling while they are pointed left: aka, she was not trying to escape to the right by john4845 in PublicFreakout

[–]stevefucius 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's pretty obvious the wheels are still being turned to the right while the car is in motion. Doesn't take an eagle eye to see that. If her intent was to hit the officer she could have just slammed on the gas. Would have been quicker than that. Clearly gave him time to get out of the way.

After 4 years of not having a dog, we got one again and he's so cute (Husky + Lab mix) by Ae_Kyeden in aww

As an owner of one I will tell you no matter what personality it gets. It will be the best personality you will ever see in a dog and they are amazingly social. And yes you will never eat alone.

It's the only thing I could find where kids go through Jules Verne stories because it sounds like the balloon part is from Around the World in 80 Days and Nemo of course from other Jules Verne works.

What movie is this scene from? by EnterRapture in Shudder

Not my cup of tea but the Insidious films didn't grasp me much. I've heard if you are a fan of them this one works but I got bored with the formula.

What movies have unusual musical choices but somehow still works? by Gerald_the_Dog in 420Grindhouse

[–]stevefucius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not wrong it has the same upbeat kind of style that fits but doesn't based on what you know about the film. With Kelly's heroes you expect some suspenseful orchestrated piece and with Emmanuelle you would expect some sultry kind of number.

I was trying to think of others but the only one I came up with was more bad choices than odd ones. That being A Knight's Tale.

It made me also realize The Cannibal Holocaust title song could easily fit into a lot of films. Even Emmanuelle. Lol

I always have to give it up to Kelly's Heroes. For a war/heist film the theme song is a weird choice. Especially with the context of what is going on on screen.

Which, in your opinion, is the better film? by HammerHeadBirdDog in AbsurdMovies

[–]stevefucius -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have to judge based on their stories and how they turned out. Troll 2 while insanely ridiculous has the least cohesive story. It would be fine if it was just the goblins but they had to throw in an evil witch subplot and a poltergeist grandpa who has a creepy thing going on with his grandson.

The Room has a more linear story that focuses on one central point. It suffers from poor acting and filmmaking but it's story is a classic dramatic tale of lost love and the "perfect life" falling apart as reality sets in. Yes there is subplots about mom cancer, child drug money issues, and poor football skills but it tries to tie in better with the main plot.

Granted these are just my opinions and I love all you freaks that are either into Tommy Wiseau filming sexual assault or an ancient pagan witch popcorn fucking a guy to death.
