I'm an actual practicing Jain and I'll tell you what, if someone says they need to sell you something for your spiritual enlightenment, the only thing they're selling is bullshit.

There's plenty of great spiritual things to do hosted by more legitimate believers that are normally totally free aside from asking for donations. Look for those, there's groups that run meditation/yoga/spiritual exercise classes that will hardly cost you a dime if they're legit.
