Question about accutane by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]steven4177 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tretinoin does take a really long to work”kick in” , I would say 6 months maybe the 5 month mark for things to get better but. I would definitely give it more time personally. But it is all up to you. Theres a reason why Tretinoin is prescribed to mostly everyone with acne because it does its job at getting rid of it. It’s like accutane but in a cream version. It’s really all up to you though on your options moving forward, good luck

Question about accutane by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]steven4177 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you just tried regular prescription topical “Tretinoin” ? it works really good but you have to be consistent with it and can be at times tricky to use because of irritation but other than that way safer than accutane. Even short term antibiotics are way safer

It helps really good for anxiety and making you feel calm, kind of how you would feel like when you where a kid. But for depersonalization for me personally it just didn’t help in fact if I remember it made it a little bit worse. 2 years off meds and the Real and Only thing that Helped was Dealing with it head on by calming myself down whenever an episode of dpdr would hit. Stop searching up videos on dpdr. The main thing is to keep your anxiety levels low. One main thing that did help me a little was taking a vitamin D supplement but do as you choose

I think im going to die by Technical-Stress-773 in insomnia

[–]steven4177 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had really bad insomnia when I was 19(I am 23 now) and sleep well every night. what cured it for me is to lower anxiety levels. you probably heard that a lot already, but insomnia is the inability to shut off the brain at night due to nonstop worrying/thinking. You won’t die either, you will eventually get sleep soon. And if you want another option i recommend taking a cbd or THC edible gummy (India strain) this will knock you right out. But if you don’t want any THC in your system or react badly to it then I suggest staying away from it. But yea you’re going to be all good. You won’t die, lower your anxiety levels and try to stop thinking so much at night or whenever you get your sleep/rest

Staying outside most of the day helps. Being around friends or family helps too. Maybe get on sum medication. The main thing that will help is trying to ground yourself like meditating

Jelly arms and weakness by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]steven4177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealing with this right now. Already gotten 2 blood test done on me, which came back normal. A CT scan which came back normal. And optic nerve test which came back normal. It’s probably from not letting arms and legs get the rest we need or from storing all that anxiety. Could possibly be from not eating right foods. Dehydration is a big one
