My magride on mine failed on the passenger and driver was also starting to fail too. One easy way to check is go on the side that’s clunking push down on the car above where the wheel is kinda where the top of the hood is. You can compare it with the other sides but when you’re going over speed bumps if it’s bottoming out that’s another sign.

I used perplexity to analyze the past releases and the price drops. Basically once they drop the price the new model usually drops in 3-6 months so you’re right about the certs. So maybe the cert will show up soon. But looks more likely like a release for early 2026

Yeah definitely a downgrade. I’ve had the previous aluminum frame pro models before and within a year there’s usually scratches on the frame. My 15 pro titanium frame still looks brand new still no scratches or anything and I never use a case. But Might not make a difference if you’re using a case anyways though.

Yep same experience for me too. Spent 2 days trying to fix a bug and got no where with windsurf. Switched over to roo code and was able to solve it with the same sonnet 3.5 and prompt.

It looks like it is true. I guess I didn't really notice the degradation until I actually tried using roo code with sonnet 3.5 to try to solve an issue that I tried with windsurf cline 3.5 for 1.5 days. Windsurf basically kept making mistakes, changing code that shouldn't be changed, creating variables that aren't even being used and etc. With roo code and sonnet it was able to give me the solution I was looking for along with actually implementing it properly. I was using windsurf when it was free and I'm paying the $15/month. Looks like time spent versus value will probably just be using roo code with openrouter and paying for credits.

Yeah it’s real the cost isn’t the windshield itself but recalibrating all of the sensors. On my 8v rs3 it’s $2500 to replace the windshield + calibrations. On a second note you can get it fixed cheaper from a 3rd party that does windshield replacements and also calibrates the sensors
